Like A Dragon: Ishin has many different substory quests that players can find and try to complete. One of which is The Love-Starved Husband
The Love-Starved Husband is an optional substory quest that sees Ryoma confront a man that has marriage issues. All he longs for his a meal cooked from his wife. This then unlocks a new ‘Friendship Bond’

LOCATION: Teramachi (Rakunai)
GUIDE:
Head to Teramachi, near the bridge that leads to Gion. Here we will find a man standing, looking and watching the river. Speak to him
The man will admit that the location is nice. That he enjoys being here. However, there is something that can be improved and that is a homemade meal. This will then force us to head to Haruka’s property and cook a meal. It does not matter which meal. Anything will do. I made a ‘Katemeshi’ as the ingredients are already at the property. So it was easier to make.
Once you have the cooked meal return back to the client and choose the ‘Why not?’ option. Both the ‘Love-Starved Husband’ and ‘Ryoma’ enjoy a meal together whilst watching the river. The man also continues to mention his wife. Apparently she is a horrible cook and a lazy person in general. He also thinks that the home cooked meal was done by Ryoma’s wife.
A new ‘Friendship Bond’ will unlock.
