Like A Dragon: Ishin has many different substory quests that players can find and try to complete. One of which is The Unwilling Courier
The Unwilling Courier is an optional substory quest that sees Ryoma bumping into a courier. Apparently this courier was rushing to deliver his letters to their recipients. Unfortunately for him, he ends up with a sprained ankle and the task is then given to us to complete.
SUBSTORY QUEST: The Unwilling Courier
CHAPTER: Chapter 5 – The Iron Code
QUEST GIVER: The Unwilling Courier (Kiyokawa)
REWARDS: Gold Seal, 300 Virtue
LOCATION: Shijo Bridge (Rakunai)
GUIDE:
Head to Shijo Bridge over in Rakunai and we will find a courier running, perhaps late for one of his deliveries? We will get a few dialogue options in order to try and clear the way for him. None of them matter as we will end up bumping into him regardless.
Suddenly the courier will start complaining that he now has a sprained ankle. Ryoma will question is he needs a doctor. To which the courier will demand that he has no time to see a doctor, that he needs to deliver his letters.
The courier will then try to get up and run off to finish his deliveries, he doesn’t really get very far. Agree to help him.
We now need to complete a total of six deliveries. All whilst listening to another amazing musical track! Anyway the recipient that need there letters are all marked on the map. Complete the job within the allocated time limit to complete the substory.
(Note: Remember to unlock the sprinting upgrades from the shrine if you find yourself struggling with this one)

I helped Kiyokawa, that silly courier. He says I have the makings of a great courier myself, but I think he’s just saying that so I’ll do his work for him.
