In the popular game Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth, players encounter a heartwarming substory called “A Love As Sweet As Lemons.” This walkthrough will guide you through this substory, including its availability, location, how to unlock it, and the rewards you can earn.
WHEN IS THE SUBSTORY AVAILABLE?
The ‘A Love as Sweet as Lemons’ substory first becomes available during Chapter 3: The Fool. Where it can be collected over at East Waikiki, Waikiki St., Honolulu.
To start the “A Love As Sweet As Lemons” substory, approach Tony at his lemonade stall. This substory provides players with an opportunity to engage with the game’s characters, help Tony sell lemonade, and uncover the story behind his special gift for someone dear to him.
A LOVE AS SWEET AS LEMONADE SUBSTORY
After approaching Tony at his Lemonade stand we will be given the opportunity to ”Buy” one of his drinks, and to basically show interest in his stall.
Tony will then mention that he is selling lemonade in order to raise money for a tiara, a gift for a teacher that is planning on leaving the country. Someone, who is, obviously close to the young boy. A farewell present.
OFFER TO HELP SELL LEMONADE
After speaking with Tony and getting the rundown on what needs to be done. We can now offer to help him sell drinks to the locals. To do this simply run up to them and offer them a drink. However, not everyone will be interested in what you have to offer.
Not only that but you will also have a time limit in which to serve all of the required drinks. So we need to be fast if we want to serve all of them and help out young Tony. Each wave will provide us with 2 minutes in which to serve the lemonade.
There will be three waves which requires us to hand out these drinks. The first wave will see us having to serve 4 people. Whilst the last will require us to serve 8 people.
COMPLETING EACH WAVE
After completing one of the waves of drinks serving we will be able to leave and return back to the substory. We can do this in multiple ways, either by coming back later or simply running away from the stand, far enough away to spawn a new blue speech bubble on the map. Where Tony is located.
If you fail to serve the final wave of 8 drinks the substory will continue on regardless. So you do NOT need to successfully sell them all. However, the above video post shows you all waves successfully completed. Just in case you would rather sell them all anyway. Become a completionist, so to speak.
VISITING TONY’S HOUSE
After completing all of the required drinks serving you will now want to head for Fuji Street, which is where Tony lives. Along with his uncle. His uncle comes off as a rather aggressive drunk, which leads to a quick battle.
THE JEWELLRY STORE
After dealing with his uncle you will then want to visit Aloha Street, where we can, once again, find and speak with Tony. This will also complete the A Love as Sweet as Lemons substory.
SUBSTORY REWARDS
Throughout the “A Love As Sweet As Lemons” substory, you will have the opportunity to earn various rewards. These include:
- Hawaiian Pizza: A health item that restores 260 HP.
- Hand-Mixed Fruit Cup: A healing item that restores 400 HP to everyone in your party.
- Boost to Friendship stat: By helping Tony with his lemonade stand, you will receive a boost to your Friendship stat.
