UNLOCKING MISS MATCH
To access the Miss Match app, you need to progress through the substory of the same name. After unlocking Aloha Links in Chapter 3, head to Cream and Berry in the west area of Waikiki Town. A cutscene will initiate, and you can dive into the world of virtual dating.
Setting Up Your Profile
Once you enter Miss Match, it’s time to create an attractive profile that will catch the attention of potential matches. The key to success lies in tailoring your profile to the person you wish to date. While you won’t be able to see the other person’s profile until you pay and match, you can create a profile that aligns with their preferences after playing once.
Within the app, you’ll have the opportunity to answer brief questions about yourself, including certain keywords that will appear on your profile. Additionally, you can choose from six different Styles that will frame how your messages sound. These styles include Regular Guy, Gentleman, High Energy, Intellectual, Fuckboy, and Life Of The Party. Selecting the right style can greatly impact your chances of establishing a connection.
Matching with Potential Dates
Once your profile is complete, it’s time to embark on the exciting journey of finding a match. By selecting “Find A Match,” you’ll be presented with a list of potential dates based on your profile. It’s important to note that the match rating changes depending on your profile, and a higher match rate will lead to better conversations.
To increase your match rate, refer to the other person’s profile and pay attention to their likes and dislikes. Incorporate this information into your messages to improve your chances of making a connection. Remember, the goal is to fill the Match Meter, which can be achieved by selecting replies that align with your profile and keeping the potential date happy.
CHATTING WITH POTENTIAL MATCHES
The chatting section is where the real magic happens. It’s here that you’ll engage in conversations with your potential dates and work towards filling the Match Meter. The meter has three checkpoints, and reaching each checkpoint will unlock a memory or a mini-game that can further boost your chances of success.
When it’s your turn to reply, you’ll be presented with three different messages to choose from. Select one and type the message using the face buttons within the time limit to send it. Speed and accuracy are crucial, as taking too long or pressing the wrong buttons can result in incoherent messages that may hinder your chances of connecting.
To maximize your chances of filling the Match Meter, choose messages with more text. Longer messages tend to have a greater impact and can lead to excellent ratings. Keep an eye out for indicators such as the other person’s preferred types and hobbies during the conversation, as they can guide you towards the right choices.
Membership Plans and Match Points
Miss Match offers various membership plans and match points that can enhance your dating experience. By purchasing match points, you can boost your match success rates, increasing the likelihood of finding a compatible partner. Additionally, you can choose between three different types of subscriptions: Basic, Gold, or Platinum. Each subscription offers different perks and access to users in specific ranks.

Opting for a higher-tier subscription allows you to match with users in your current rank and the ranks before that. Keep in mind that if you wish to match with someone in the Platinum rank, you will need to be in the Platinum rank yourself.
Unveiling Memories and Rewards
As you successfully fill the Match Meter and establish connections with your potential matches, you’ll unlock memories and rewards. Memories play out as live-action videos featuring the girl seen in the photos. These memories provide a deeper understanding of the characters and add to the immersive experience of the Miss Match substory.
Additionally, progressing through Miss Match allows you to earn progress in the Personality system. Leveling up your traits based on your performance with Miss Match can enhance your character and improve your chances of success on future dates.
MEETING SPECIAL CHARACTERS
Throughout your Miss Match journey, you may encounter special characters who add an extra layer of excitement to the game. Sophie, Naomi, and Mashima are three live-action cast members who can appear on your dates. Meeting them adds a unique flavor to your virtual dating experience and may require multiple interactions on the app before they make an appearance. Whilst Saori is required for the substory.
TROPHY ACHIEVEMENT – DON’T HATE THE PLAYER
As you navigate the world of Miss Match, you’ll have the opportunity to earn achievements and trophies. By meeting up with five people from Miss Match, you can unlock the “Don’t Hate the Player” trophy. Exploring the various features and successfully dating different women will contribute to your overall progress in the game.
