Substory 8, titled “Snap Those Sickos,” is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered during Chapter 3: The Fool. In this Substory, you’ll encounter a photographer named Kuroki, who rides the local trolley in search of unique photo opportunities. Get your camera ready and join Ichiban as he delves into the world of “sickos”
Unlocking Sicko Snap
To unlock the Sicko Snap minigame, you must first complete the Snap Those Sickos substory. Head to the Trolley Station on Aloha Beach, marked by speech bubbles just south of Purple Dolphins clothing store. Interact with the Trolley Station sign and choose to “Wait” for the trolley to arrive. Once onboard, you’ll meet George Kuroki, the eccentric photographer who will introduce you to the world of Sicko Snap.
Exploring Sicko Snap Locations
This mini game offers three different locations across Hawaii, each with its own level of difficulty: Easy, Intermediate, and Hard mode. To access these locations, interact with the corresponding trolley stops and select “Sicko Snap” from the menu. Here’s a breakdown of the various different locations in Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth:
Easy Mode: Aloha Beach
In Easy mode, you’ll find the mini game at Aloha Beach, specifically on Aloha Street, southeast of Purple Dolphins Clothing store and east of Honu World Market. Keep an eye out for the trolley stop, marked by speech bubbles, and select “Wait” to begin the minigame.
Intermediate Mode: Sunset Street Trolley Stop
To tackle Intermediate mode, head to the Sunset Street Trolley Stop (Harbor Line), located on the corner of Anaconda Street and Sunset Street. Interact with the stop, choose to “Wait” for the trolley, and select “Sicko Snap” to start capturing the action.
Hard Mode: Night Street Trolley Stop
For the most challenging experience, test your skills in Hard mode at the Night Street Trolley Stop. You’ll find this stop on the far west side of Harbor Street, near the western edge of the map, southeast of Bluebird Gallery. Wait for the trolley to arrive and embark on a thrilling photo adventure.
Mastering Sicko Snap Gameplay
In Sicko Snap, your objective is to capture photographs of “sickos” in action and collect Snap Points before time runs out. Each location has a predetermined Snap Score you need to reach to clear the minigame successfully. Here are some essential tips to help you excel in this exciting mini game:
- Zoom and Focus: Utilize the on-screen controls to zoom in and out, ensuring you capture detailed shots of your subjects.
- Center Your Shots: Aim to have the subjects centered in your frame for maximum points. Off-center or cut-off shots will yield fewer points.
- Golden Sickos: Keep an eye out for Golden Sickos. Capturing them in their signature pose will award bonus points.
- Target Colors: Different colors have varying point values. Aim for subjects wearing colors that offer higher point rewards.
- Limited Shots: Remember, you have a limited number of shots available. Use them wisely and capture a variety of subjects to maximize your point potential.
Redeeming Snap Points
Aside from the thrill of capturing sickos, Sicko Snap also rewards you with Snap Points. After successfully completing the minigame, you can redeem these points for various items at any Sicko Snap location. From healing Teas to CD playlists and even blueprints for Dondoko Island, the rewards shop offers a range of enticing options. Keep an eye on your Snap Points in the top right corner of your screen and select the “Redeem Snap Points” option to enjoy your hard-earned rewards.
