Mouse PI For Hire Newspapers are collectible items you will find while exploring some of the optional areas. Collecting all 38 newspapers unlocks the Extra! Extra! Trophy.

Where to Find All 38 Newspapers and Unlock the Extra! Extra! Trophy
Aside from one newspaper that is bought from the Paperboy at the PI Office, the rest are found during main jobs. Any newspaper you might have missed during a main job can be bought from the shop at the end of the level. Don’t forget that the last two missions act as points of no return and you lose access to the shop, meaning that you must find the collectibles yourself. In fact, that’s recommended for all collectible items because there are better ways to spend money.

Newspaper 1 – The Vanishing Act
Go through the door to the left of the MPD Lieutenant and spot the newspaper in the locker on the right.
Newspaper 2 – The Vanishing Act
Find the newspaper on the kitchen counter, behind the save point.
Newspaper 3 – Gumshoe in the Opera
Go through the door and collect the newspaper from the table.
Newspaper 4 – Gumshoe in the Opera
On the rocking chair next to Old Rat Stuntman.
Newspaper 5 – Bandel’s Laboratory
Enter the room behind you and find this issue of the Mouseburg Herald on a stack of books.

The newspaper is on the desk inside this room.
Newspaper 7 – Bandel’s Laboratory
In the trash basket in the room with the save point.
Newspaper 8 – A Bit of a Scene
Go down the stairs and jump on the trash cans to go over the fence.
Newspaper 9 – A Bit of a Scene
Use the trampoline to jump across and enter the room.
Newspaper 10 – Cheeseball Sub
Go through the Staff Only door and head upstairs to find the newspaper on the desk.

Jump on the crates, go left, and turn right.
Newspaper 12 – Cheeseball Sub
Climb the ladder and search the room behind the save point.

Newspaper 13 – “Once Upon A Time…” By Tinsel Bros.
Search the counter behind the bar.
Newspaper 14 – “Once Upon A Time…” By Tinsel Bros.
Go outside and up the stairs to enter the building. Search the bathroom stalls.
Newspaper 15 – Saltwater Cambozo
The newspaper is on one of the tables.
Newspaper 16 – Saltwater Cambozo
Use the grapple point, go through the gate, and find one of the Mouse PI For Hire Newspapers on a crate.
Newspaper 17 – Saltwater Cambozo
Jump on the crates next to the car and enter the vent. Destroy the totally normal wall on the other side and enter the room with the newspaper.
Go up the stairs on the left side of the fireplace and turn right.
Search the left side of the porch and find the Mouseburg Herald newspaper on the bench.
Newspaper 20 – Shrewd Shrews
Find the newspaper inside the locked room on the right.
Newspaper 21 – Shrewd Shrews
Use the trampoline to land the pipe, jump across to reach the alcove, and collect the newspaper from the chair.
Newspaper 22 – Shrewd Shrews
From the nearby save point, go upstairs, and turn left.
Newspaper 23 – It All Points Here, Right?
The newspaper is behind the NPC on the right.
Newspaper 24 – It All Points Here, Right?
On the platform above Francesco the Elefanto.
Newspaper 25 – It All Points Here, Right?
Jump on the haystacks on the left and find the newspaper on the table.
Newspaper 26 – Swamp Oddity
Climb up the ladder and find the newspaper pinned to the wall inside the building,

Go through the door and make your way to the Office downstairs. Jump over the desk to get the newspaper.

Newspaper 28 – “The Bookkeeper” By Tinsel Bros
Collect the Bookkeeper’s Key and unlock the door. Turn left, just before going outside, to find the newspaper on a chair.

The newspaper is on the bar counter.
Newspaper 30 – “Fatal Repulsions” By Tinsel Bros
Go left and notice the fan. One of the Mouse PI For Hire Newspapers is on a wooden plank under the fan.

Enter the building with the save point and collect the newspaper from the desk.
Newspaper 32 – Glugging from the Deep
Break the wall – you can find ammo in the nearby train car – to reveal a warp pipe. Go through the pipe and find the newspaper on a wooden crate.

The Mouse PI For Hire Newspaper is on the desk next to the save point in this area.
Newspaper 34 – Fair Enough
Go up the stairs and make a left to find the newspaper on the bench.
Newspaper 35 – Fair Enough
Turn back, make a right into the corridor, and go through the Staff Only door to find the newspaper on the desk.
Newspaper 36 – Big Mouse, Little Hope
The newspaper is inside the wooden crate.
Newspaper 37 – Big Mouse, Little Hope
Go through the door, turn left, head up the stairs, turn right, and you will immediately spot the newspaper.
