Neverness to Everness Sea Prisoner is a boss you must defeat to complete the NTE Deep Blue Sorrow Anomaly Commission. The boss spawns under specific conditions.

How to Find and Defeat the Neverness to Everness Sea Prisoner Boss
To start the NTE Deep Blue Sorrow Anomaly Commission, you need a four-wheel vehicle. Take the Bridge Crossings teleport point and make your way south towards the Coastal Highway Z42 road. Summon your car and drive into the tunnel.
The anomaly event will start when you reach the marker. Continue along the ice and water paths to reach the NTE Sea Prisoner location. Take note that the Deep Blue Sorrow Anomaly won’t start unless you are in a four-wheel vehicle. If you still cannot trigger the event, try driving in reverse into the tunnel or visit the location during the night.
How to Defeat the NTE Sea Prisoner Boss
The Neverness to Everness Deep Blue Sorrow boss encounter has two phases. The boss is weak against Anima damage.
In Phase 1, the boss uses the following attacks:
- Slam attack – The boss jumps high in the air and comes crashing down. Avoid the point of impact. This is a good time to deal some damage.
- Underwater attack – The boss dives underwater and reemerges, creating several columns of water around it. Move away to avoid.
- Vortex attack – The boss summons a vortex under you. Parry to interrupt this attack.
- Red Orbs attack – The boss summons red orbs and hurls them at you. Dodge to avoid this attack.
Phase 2 begins when the Neverness to Everness Sea Prisoner is at 75% – 50% HP. It uses all the attacks from Phase 1, plus two new ones:
- Anchor attack – The boss creates an anchor and throws it at you. Dodge to avoid.
- Wave attack – The boss creates tsunami waves. Dodge to avoid.
Once the boss is down, you will unlock the 52 Hertz achievement and complete the NTE Deep Blue Sorrow Anomaly. Make sure to interact with the blue anchor to collect the Song of the Whale S-Rank arc before leaving.
