Best Sulfur Farm Locations in Palworld 1.0

Palworld

Sulfur is one of those materials you never seem to have enough of in Palworld 1.0. The more ammo and advanced gear you craft, the faster your Sulfur disappears. Thankfully, there are several great ways to farm it.

Here are the best Sulfur locations, and the best ways to get them.

How to get Sulfur in Palworld 1.0

In order to get Sulfur in Palworld, you’ll need to find Sulfur mining deposits.

Sulfur Deposits

Unlike other deposits in the game, Sulfur is pretty easy to spot. Sulfur deposits are large, bright yellow mineral nodes that stand out against the surrounding terrain.

You can find most Sulfur in the Volcano area, and around Verdant Brook in Palworld. Head to the marked locations to find varying amounts of Sulfur and Ore deposits.

One of my favorite spots to get Sulfur is by the Eternal Pyre Tower Entrance fast travel.

For some useful farming tips, you can bring Digtoise and use its Partner skill. Digtoise will spin on its place, destroying any nearby ore for you. Meanwhile, you can also add Reptyro Cryst, which can reduce all types of ore’s weight by 35% in case you’re planning to farm plenty of sulfur.

Build a Sulfur Quarry

You can also build a Sulfur Quarry, which lets you mine Sulfur right from your base. Quarries are one of the best ways to passively farm Sulfur and other mining materials in Palworld, eliminating the need to gather them manually out in the world.

You can unlock this by reaching level 46, and you can build them using the following materials:

  • 70 Stone
  • 100 Sulfur
  • 30 Paladium Fragments
  • 10 Ancient Civilization Parts

Mine Sulfur Deposits inside Dungeons/Cave

If you do not have Heat-Resistant Armor or heat resistance upgrades yet, you can also resort to farming Sulfur inside dungeons. There’s a high chance you’ll find Sulfur, even in dungeons near the starting areas. Just make sure to bring a good pickaxe or a Digtoise.

For instance, you could get Sulfur inside the Hillside Cavern dungeon just south of the starting point in Palworld.
