Looking for the best Ranch Pals in Palworld 1.0? The Ranch is one of the most useful base facilities, letting certain Pals produce valuable materials automatically.
With that in mind, here are the best Pals you can use in the Ranch, all the materials they drop and some useful tips!
How to Unlock the Ranch in Palworld
The Palworld Ranch can be unlocked through the Technology Tree after reaching the Level 5. Once built inside your base, simply assign a compatible Ranch Pal to start collecting resources automatically.

Since every Ranch Pal produces something different, having a good variety pays off. Palworld constantly throws new crafting requirements your way, so having different Pals in the Ranch means you’ll always have a steady stream of useful materials.

How to Make Your Ranch More Efficient
Want to fully optimize your ranch and make your setup efficient? Here are some useful Palworld Ranch tips!
Condense Ranch Pals
Instead of filling your Ranch with multiple copies of the same Pal, it’s usually better to condense them instead. Once you unlock the Pal Essence Condenser at Level 14, you can combine duplicate Pals to boost their stats, Partner Skill, and Work Suitability. Even better, condensed Ranch Pals produce more materials, so you can free up those extra Ranch slots for different Pals while still getting plenty of resources.

Put Food Box near your working pals
Base Pals, including Ranch Pals, get hungry and will stop working to grab a meal. To cut down on downtime, place a Feed Box close to the Ranch so they don’t have to walk across the base every time they eat. The less time they spend traveling, the more time they spend producing materials.
Find the right passives
In Palworld 1.0, increasing a Ranch Pal’s Work Speed improves how quickly it generates drops. So when deploying base pals, try to find any of the following passive skills:

- Artisan: Work Speed +50.0%
- Work Slave: Work Speed +30.0%, Attack -30.0%
- Serious: Work Speed +20.0%
- Lucky: Attack +20.0%, Defense +20.0%, Movement Speed increases 20.0%
