How to Get Nightstar Sand in Palworld 1.0

Nightstar Sand in Palworld is one of the crafting materials that you’ll need during the mid-game. Unlike Ore or Sulfur, it doesn’t spawn as a mineable node. Instead, it appears as glowing spots on sandy terrain, making it easy to miss if you don’t know where or when to look.

Here’s where to find Nightstar Sand and the fastest way to farm it.

Where to Find Nightstar Sand in Palworld

Nightstar Sand only appears in desert and sandy areas, and it can only be seen at night.

During the daytime, the resource doesn’t spawn visibly, so it’s best to wait until nightfall before starting a farming run. The glowing yellow patches stand out against the sand, making them much easier to spot in the dark.

The best place to farm Nightstar Sand is Feybreak Island, particularly along the island’s northern and northeastern beaches. Take a look at the map below and head to the rough white sandy areas.

Simply follow the coastline and collect every glowing patch you come across. Since the beaches are long and Nightstar Sand is spread out, bringing a fast ground mount is highly recommended to cover more distance before sunrise. Flying mounts aren’t ideal, as most of Feybreak Island is an anti-air zone.

If you haven’t unlocked Feybreak yet, you can also find Nightstar Sand in the Dessicated Desert, near Paladius and Necromus, and Searing Dunes Watchtower. However, the spawn rate there is far lower, so it’s generally not as efficient for farming.
