How to Complete Renewed Purpose in Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth
Completing Renewed Purpose is as simple as completing each and every Life Link. However, before you even think about starting, you’ll first need to gain access to Life Links.
You will first gain access to life links in chapter eight. During the chapter, an NPC called Date will approach you and prompt you to meet him at the cabaret bar. Once you do this, a short cutscene will start, and once it’s finished, you will gain access to every life link.
With that in mind, here’s how you can complete every life link for Renewed Purpose.
Renewed Purpose Life Link 1
To access the first Life Link for renewed purpose, you need to reach Awakening Level Two. Once you’ve done this, meet up with Date at the Harbour Lights. After interacting with him, the first life link will start with the orphan Taichi.
Life Link 2
The second Life Link for Renewed Purpose can only be initiated after completing the first Life Link. You’ll also need to have reached Awakening Level Three.
Once you meet these requirements, you will receive another invitation to meet Date at the harbour. During this Life Link episode, you will learn about Date’s schemes for future visits, specifically that he wants to reintroduce Kiryu to the people from his past.
Life Link 3
The third Life Link can only be initiated after you reach Awakening Level Four. Again, you’ll receive a call from Date. Once you rendezvous at the Harbour lights, you will travel with him to Kamurocho. Once you arrive, you’ll meet Jazuki and Yuya.
Life Link 4
To activate the fourth Life Link for Renewed Purpose, you need to have reached Awakening Level 5. During this episode, you will be taken to a bar and meet Matsunaga and Tagashira, who were first introduced in Yakuza Six. This episode will help you to learn more about the pair, and ultimately strengthen your bond with them.
Renewed Purpose Life Link 5
To access the fifth Life Link you need to, as you might expect, reach Awakening Level Six. Beyond this, you’ll also need to Complete Chapter 10 of the main story.
Once you fulfil these prerequisites, you’ll receive a call from Date. After travelling back to the Harbour Lights, he will take you to see Chief Nakajima, who was first introduced in Yakuza 5.
Life Link 6
Once you reach Awakening Level Seven, you will get a call from Date to initiate the sixth Life Link for Renewed Purpose. Simply travel back to the Harbour Lights to initiate the Life Link. During this episode, you will meet up with Kaoru Sayama, whom Kiryu dated in Yakuza 2.
Life Link 7
The seventh Life Link for Renewed Purpose can only be accessed after you complete Chapter 12 and reach Awakening Level 8. After Date calls you, travel to the Harbour Lights and he will take you to see Shun Akiyama.
Renewed Purpose Life Link 8
You will access the final Life Link once you have completed Chapter 12 of the main story and reached Awakening Level 9. This Life Link involves you meeting Haruka and Haruto.
Shortly after completing this Life Link, the Renewed Purpose achievement should trigger, putting you one step closer to 100% game completion.
