REPO Apex Predator Encounter Guide
The Apex Predator hides its true form. At first, it appears as a cute yellow duck that follows you around. If you happen to engage it, the creature unleashes its full power.
Behavior and Transformation
The creature doesn’t have a favorite location. It can appear anywhere. The duck follows you, quacks, and jumps. It doesn’t do anything, as long as you leave it alone. However, the monster is hell-bent on getting in your way, so you will inevitably engage it at some point.
As soon as you click it, the harmless duck turns into the ferocious Apex Predator. It also transforms if it receives damage.
How to Defeat the Apex Predator
The best way to deal with the monster is simply to leave it alone or hide from it, but you can also get rid of it before it has a chance to transform. It does a lot of damage, so you will want to make quick work of it. Start by stunning it. You can then damage it and you might kill it in one attack.
Another strategy is to kite it to the Extractor area, but be careful and don’t touch it. Kite the duck close to the Extractor and watch out for the crush, so you don’t die in the process.
You could also kite it into a toilet or cauldron. Wait until it jumps into the toilet, close it, and flush. The toilet will then explode, stunning the creature. Quickly locate it, grab it, and smash it into the ground to get rid of it. This method also works with a cauldron, however, the duck may escape. If it jumps out of the cauldron, lure it back in and wait for the explosion. Once it’s out, pick it up and slam it into the ground. Defeating the duck will net you about 2000 cash.
