Schedule 1 lets players run a full-on drug empire to rake in a ton of cash. But if that hustle alone isn’t enough, why not squeeze even more out of it by pickpocketing townies, and even your own customers? There are a bunch of ways to boost your income in Schedule 1, from raising prices and negotiating deals to straight-up swiping things right out of people’s pockets. If all this sounds new, here’s a quick look at how pickpocketing actually works
How to Pickpocket in Schedule 1 – Best Tips
To start pickpocketing in Schedule 1, pick a target, whether it’s a random townie or a customer. Ideally, the best item to steal is whatever you just sold them, since it usually goes for over a hundred bucks. Then, position yourself behind them, crouch by pressing the CTRL button, and press E to enter the pickpocketing mini-game. This will show you the target’s inventory, with the stealable items marked behind a locked icon.

The goal here is to land the arrow within the green section of the bar. Once you nail it, you’ll be able to drag the item straight into your inventory. After grabbing something, just run the mini-game again to try getting another item.

Now, what happens if you land on the red section? Don’t expect the outcome to be good. The victim will be alerted, and you’ll either be attacked or reported to the police. Either way, it’s not going to be fun, unless you enjoy getting chased.
One more tip when pickpocketing, avoid doing it near police units, as they might arrest you if they catch you in the act.
Also, using mods can help you pickpocket in Schedule 1. The “Easy Pickpocket” mod by Liryuu is a good pick. It slows down the slider speed, making it much easier to hit the green zone and pull off a clean steal.
