In Those Seeking Sanctuary demons are making trips to Tokyo. To live peacefully with humans, oh boy! Yes, this is yet another quest in Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance where players are given the option to side with multiple different demons. So Lilim or Principality?
How To Begin Those Seeking Sanctuary Subquest In Shin Megami Vengeance
We can activate this particular subquest within Shinagawa Pier, which is, of course, part of the Da’at Shinagawa region. Here we can find and speak with a demon known as Lilim. They will mention that she is trying to take refuge here due to the nasty demons nearby.
They will also mention that Tokyo is known to be demon-free and safe. But, unfortunately, another demon is refusing access to travelling there. Our task is to find and defeat the demon, Principality. Who is, apparently, located near a ton of shipping containers.
Before leaving the area feel free to speak with the other demons here, they will be curious about the human race. Questioning their ability to build and wondering if they used to live here. It’s optional really and just gives a bit more lore.
Searching The Shipping Containers To Find Principality
Once you are ready proceed to the eastern side of the map. Here we should be able to locate a bunch of the shipping containers that Lilim spoke of. Here we will also be able to find and speak with Principality. By speaking with them we will also be given an option to listen to their side of the story.
Principality will mention the true intent of Lilim. That her real goal is one that involves a world of humans. That she is also pretending to be weak. Whilst it is said that Lilim wants to endanger the human race, Principality wants the opposite, to, instead, help them.
Siding With Principality Or Lilim In Seeking Sancturary
As we now know, Principality wants to help the human race, whilst Lilim wants to destroy them. So we are given a choice to make. We can either side with one or the other, not both. By siding with Principality we also unlock the additional subquest, Holding the Line.
Helping Principality (Holding The Line)
After choosing to side with Principality our job now is to seek out and destroy Lilim. Apparently her whereabouts can be seen over at the Shinagawa Pier main road. To the west side of the map. Where we originally located her.
Staying Loyal To Lilim (Those Seeking Sanctuary)
Regardless of what option and side you want to join you will need to find and speak with Principality anyway. Do so and choose to support the other side. This will lead to a battle against Principality.
During the fight you will also be up against two of the same boss. Both of which are weak to Dark attacks, such as Mudoon. For winning the fight you will be rewarded with 650 Macca, Dark Sutra, and Lilim will join your demonic party.
Siding With Principality Rewards
If you choose to side with Principality, simply report back to Lilim, who is in the same exact location. Choose to support the other side. This will result in the demon’s disappointment and cause a battle. The fight is similar to the one against Principality but there is a total of 6 Lilim demons to deal with.
Take full advantage of the fight by using Ice based spells and attacks, such as Bufu. You will be rewarded with 654 Macca. Principality will join your party.
