The Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance Prince of Her Dreams Quest is a small quest that takes place in Jouin High School. The quest is given to you by another student named Miyazu Atsuta and it’s recommended for players Level 15 and up. This quest is a time quest that must be done before a certain point in the main story, so it’s best to do it as soon as possible.
How to Begin the Prince of Her Dreams Quest
A fellow student named Miyazu wants to learn more about the prince in her dreams and she asks for your help. In order to gain insight into the matter, you have to find a student in the school who knows a lot about legends and mythology. There are a lot of people to talk to and finding the right guy can be time consuming.
First, you’ll need to proceed to your class as usual. The classroom is on the second floor, to the right of the stairs, two doors down. Attending class will open up more of the school and then you can begin your hunt.
Where to Find the Mythology Expert
Once class ends, exit the classroom and go left. Tao, a student by the stairs, stops you. It’s up to you if you want to listen to what she has to say or keep moving.
Stay on the second floor and walk straight past the stairs. Go to the end of the hallway and turn right. There is a lone male student in the alcove staring at a painting. Speak to him and tell him about Miyazu’s dream of a prince sailing a boat through the night sky. The male student believes her dreams are alluding to one of two gods. Sin, the Mesopotamian god of the moon, or Khonsu, the Egyptian god of the moon.
He asks if Miyazu gets sick a lot, which leads him to believe the prince in her dreams is Khonsu, who cured a princess who was suffering from a disease.
Return to Miyazu
After speaking to the student, return to Miyazu. Go back down the hallway and go down the stairs to your right. As soon as you reach the bottom, a cutscene begins where you almost run into a girl leaving a classroom. When you speak to Miyazu, you have two questions you can ask her:
- “Not feeling well today?”
- “Who was that?”
If you select “Not feeling well today?” she tells you that she is fine. She goes on to explain that the girl you ran into, Itsukishima, was hurt and she was trying to help her.
If you select “Who was that?” she tells you the name of the girl and that she was hurt.
Miyazu suspects that the bruises on the Itsukishima are not there by accident and she worries for her. Once this cutscene ends, walk up and interact with Miyazu again. Now you have the option to tell Miyazu what you learned from the occult research club. Select “Yes”. You tell her about Khonsu. She thanks you for helping her and gives her x3 Cans of Jelly as a reward.
