This Sword of the Sea Chapter 1 guide shows you where to find all the collectibles in the first chapter, Veiled Sea. We also have two animal trophies to unlock. Let’s see where they are hiding!
Sword of the Sea Chapter 1 Collectibles and Trophies
In Chapter 1, Veiled Sea, we can find:
- 10 Ocean Seeds unlocking the Cleansed the Veiled Sea trophy.
- 1 Trick Track Area counting as progress for the Trick Attack Seeker and Trick Attack Expert trophies.
- Desert Rain Frog unlocking the Desert Rain Frog trophy.
- Orca unlocking the Orca Rider trophy.
- 10 Secret Shells unlocking the Veiled Sea Shell Collector trophy.
- 6 Stele counting as progress for the Wisdom of the Ancients trophy.
Sword of the Sea Veiled Sea Collectibles and Trophies
Stele 1 – The Sea Remembers
In the first area, go left and ride through the lanterns to reveal the cave entrance, where you will find The Sea Remembers stele.
Ocean Seed 1 Unmissable
In the center of the Veiled Sea map.
Secret Shell 1
Reach the vendor using the water path, then turn left to collect the first Secret Shell.
Ocean Seed 2
Leave the area with the vendor and stick to the left. Ride through the lanterns to spawn the jellyfish jump points and use them to reach the second Ocean Seed location.
Stele 2 – The Necropolis
Follow the jellyfish path after the second Ocean Seed to reach The Necropolis stele.
Secret Shell 2
From The Necropolis stele location, jump down and enter the water cave on the right to find the second Secret Shell.
Ocean Seed 3
Exit the water cave and stick to the left to reach the sand. Follow the rocky path and enter the cave at the base of the sand fall.
Ocean Seed 4
Follow the left wall and go through the lanterns to open the cave. Enter and interact with another set of lanterns to reveal a Sword of the Sea water point.
Stele 3 – The Blade
After restoring the water, find The Blade stele at the base of the mural on the right.
Ocean Seed 5
From The Blade stele, follow the water path to the right. Use the jump points and make a left.
Sword of the Sea Chapter 1 Collectible Locations
Secret Shell 3
From the fifth Ocean Seed, follow the left wall to find the third Chapter 1 Secret Shell.
Ocean Seed 6 Unmissable
Go up the platform and reach the lanterns to spawn the jump points. Go up, follow the right path, and interact with another group of lanterns to activate the jump points. Enter the cave, make a right, follow the stairs, and ride through the lanterns, spawning the jellyfish points that allow you to reach the Ocean Seed.
Orca Rider Trophy
Use the jump point to land on the back of an orca and ride it to unlock the Orca Rider trophy.
Stele 4 – The Fish Swim in the Sky
Use the jellyfish to enter the alcove through the open windows.
Secret Shell 4
Leave the area with The Fish Swim in the Sky stele, jump to the right, cross the roof bridge, and ride an orca to reach the Secret Shell.
Secret Shell 5
Jump on the left and land in the water. Jump again on the left in the direction of the two pillars. The fifth Sword of the Sea Secret Shell is on the highest pillar.
Secret Shell 6
Go left before the cave entrance where you unlocked Ocean Seed 6 and follow the water path. Jump down and enter the cave below.
Ocean Seed 7
Return to the area with the chains and interact with the lanterns on the left.
Stele 5 – The Cycle Is Broken
From Ocean Seed 7, go left towards the chain.
Veiled Sea Collectibles
Ocean Seed 8
From the fifth Sword of the Sea stele in Chapter 1, follow the left wall.
Ocean Seed 9 Unmissable
Float above after unlocking Ocean Seed 8 and go through the large door that just opened. Follow the path to reach the water point.
Ocean Seed 10 Unmissable
Follow the fish path and go straight. Jump on the tile and enter the building in front of you. Find the two mechanisms that unlock the door. The first one is on the walkway to the left. The second is in a tower above the door.
Secret Shell 7
From the previous water point, exit the building and make a right. Jump on the rocks and keep to the right. Stick to the left wall as you exit.
Trick Track Area
Make a right to leave the area with the seventh Secret Shell and stick to the left wall
Stele 6 – Auma
Leave the Trick Track Area and float using the kelp on the left.
Secret Shell 8
Leave the location with the Auma stele and make a left. Pass the flag and keep going. Jump down on the left and go inside the cave with the flag next to the entrance.
Desert Rain Frog
Follow the cliff path leading down. Drop down and spot the frog on a stack of rocks.
Secret Shell 9
From the frog’s location, drop down on the left and land on the rock below.
Secret Shell 10
Return to the main area, the one with the building, and go up on the kelp. Ride the chains and jump on the right.
