The Outer Worlds 2 Command Credentials – How To Reach the Cabin

When you start The Outer Worlds 2, the first Main Quest, A Cause Worth Killing For, asks you to access the intercom. Before that, you’ll need to grab your Command Credentials inside the Cabin. It’s usually simple, but if you’re missing the right skills, there are a few extra steps you’ll need to take.

Here’s what to do.

How to Enter the Cabin in The Outer Worlds 2 and Get the Command Credentials

Players can get the Command Credentials inside the cabin in The Outer Worlds 2.

After speaking with Niles Abara, the next objective is to use the intercom. However, before you can do that, you’ll need to retrieve your Command Credentials, which are located inside your cabin. Follow the quest marker which leads to a locked door upstairs. The only way inside the cabin is through the jammed door.

There are two ways to get past this door, depending on your trait.

If you have the Brawny trait or Engineering 1 skill, you can simply force the door open.

But, if you dont have the trait or skill needed, you’ll have to use another path.

Head to the kitchen next to the cabin and go inside. There’s an open vent in this room, so crawl through it. Drop down, crouch, and grab the Cigarette Lighter and Bulk Smoke. Then, jump onto the platform to your left and open the door to enter the cabin’s interior.

Once inside the cabin, collect the Command Credentials along with the Agent Helmet, which provides a +5% base health bonus.

After that, head back to the Intercom to speak with Agent de Vries. Using our command credentials we will, now, be allowed to do this. This will also trigger a cinematic and begin the game proper
