How to Get Every Ending in Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines 2 VTMB 2
There are 6 different endings in total that you can get in VTMB 2 and each of the endings tie to a different trophy so you’ll be getting trophies along with finishing the game! The problem is, you can’t get all of them during one playthrough, so they remain missable until you finish the game again. Hence multiple playthroughs are required
Let’s take a look at all the endings in Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines 2.
A City in Flames Ending Trophy – Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 Endings
This ending is objectively a bad one. Vampire factions are going with vampires losing their power and the I.A.O has attacked Seattle, causing chaos everywhere. You can get this ending during We Don’t Do Ghost Stories story mission chapter and rather than turn Baker, you kill them. In return for this ending, you get the A City in Flames trophy.
A City of Anarchy Endings Trophy – Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 Endings
To get this ending, you need to make sure Katsumi is in charge of Seattle. You’ll spend most of your playthrough befriending her. When different choices arise, make sure to choose the following options:
- Benny needs to be given to Katsumi.
- Make sure to send Max to Katsumi. Also keep up the positivity towards both of them!
- Turn Agent Baker and when you get the chance, tell them to lead them out of Seattle.
- Finally, keep up a positive attitude towards Damsel.
Get this ending and you get A City of Anarchy trophy.
A City Most Fabulous Ending Trophy
This ending will leave Tolly in charge of Seattle. He takes the throne and doesn’t hestiate to get rid of everyone else who threatens his power. To get this ending make sure to do the following:
- Be positive towards Lou in Chains of Lead and Gold, Tome Alone, and The Pathways of Hesperides.
- During The Fires of Industry, you need to be hostile towards Ryong.
- In A Star of Cold Aspect, you need to return Benny to Ryong while also remaining hostile towards Kasumi. Keep hostile during the quest Turning Down the Heat as well, making sure not to send Max to her.
- Agent Baker must be bitten.
- Stay positive towards Lou in Dish of the Day and send Verona to her.
- In Putting Out the Trash you need to tell Baker to destroy the Anarchs while telling Ryong you’ll leave Seattle.
- During A Kiss from Prospero, you need to tell Fabien this place is a prison, remain hostile to Lou, and hostile to Ryong.
- While you’re finishing The Coursing of the Rats tell Tolly this place is your problem before telling Max to ask Tolly for help. Makes sure to tell Kasumi we can take Lou together and be positive to Damsel.
For getting this ending, you get A City Most Fabulous trophy.
A City Restored Ending Trophy – Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 Endings
To get this ending, you need make sure that Lou is in charge of Seattle. Obviously, the main thing to do is to keep trying to befriend Lou. But also make sure to do the following:
- In Chains of Lead and Gold, In Tome Alone, In Taste of Description, and In the Pathways of Hesperides be positive towards Lou.
- In the Fires of Industry, stay hostile to Ryong.
- Be Hostile towards Katsumi and return Benny to Ryong in A Star of Cold Aspect.
- In Turning Down the Heat, stay hostile towards Katsumi and don’t send her Max.
- In A Plaything Discarded, remain hostile towards Max and Katsumi.
- Bite Agent Baker.
- In Dish of the Day send Verona to Lou.
- During Putting Out the Trash, you need to tell Baker to lead them out of Seattle but tell Ryong you’ll stay there.
- In A Kiss from Prospero stay positive to Lou while being hostile to Ryong.
- When you’re finishing The Coursing of the Rats tell Tolly you’ll stay, destroy Katsumi, and stay hostile to Damsel.
For getting this ending, you get the A City Restored Trophy.
City Unchained Ending Trophy
In the City Unchained ending Phyre ends up being in charge of Seattle. By acting hostile towards most of the characters, you can get this ending. However, these are the specific choices you should make:
- In Chains of Lead and Gold, In Tome Alone, In Taste of Description, and In the Pathways of Hesperides be positive towards Lou.
- In the Fires of Industry, stay hostile to Ryong.
- Be Hostile towards Katsumi and return Benny to Ryong in A Star of Cold Aspect.
- In Turning Down the Heat, stay hostile towards Katsumi and don’t send her Max.
- In A Plaything Discarded, remain hostile towards Max and Katsumi.
- Bite Agent Baker.
- In Dish of the Day send Verona to Lou.
- During Putting Out the Trash, tell Baker they will destroy the Anarchs and that you’ll stay in Seattle to Ryong.
- In A Kiss from Prospero tell Fabien I will be Prince and be hostile to Lou as well as Ryong.
- When you’re finishing The Coursing of the Rats tell Tolly you’ll stay, be positive towards Max and Damsel, and tell Katsumi we can take Lou together.
By getting this ending, you get A City Unchained trophy.
A City of Kinship Ending Trophy
In this ending, your bringing peace to the entire city. To get this, you need finish the side quests for all the clan contacts while remaining positive during dialogue options. But it’s basically your choice. Just avoid conflict and have healthy relationships with all the clans.
