Unlocking The Embrace – Missable Trophy in Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines 2

Agent Baker and her fate gives us the option to feed on her and unlock The Embrace trophy achievement

During the course of the game, you’ll come across Agent Baker (nicknamed Mother Hen by her fellow agents). She is the head of the Information Awareness Office. She is very pragmatic sort of woman who throws her everything into her job. Around two-thirds into the game, you face a pivotal choice involving Agent Baker.

During the main story quest We Don’t Do Ghost Stories, which is technically the 22nd chapter. You’ll have a chance to get The Embrace trophy. Here you will encounter Agent Baker. This leaves you with two choices; either to turn on Agent Baker or refuse. Play through it as you normally would. However, when faced with this choice, don’t do anything right away because it has reaching consequences!

To Bite Agent Baker Or Not – Consequential Missable Option

By choosing to turn on Agent Baker and, essentially, dig your fangs into her you will be rewarded with The Embrace trophy. However, if you don’t choose to bite them you won’t be able to get this trophy therefore making it missable. But there’s also something else it locks you out of and that’s one of the specific endings.

A City in Flames is one of the endings and one that might be considered the bad ending for the game. But ignoring that, if you don’t decide to bite Agent Baker during We Don’t Do Ghost Stories, you’ll be locked out of this ending. Not that bad considering this is one of the worse endings in the game.

And with that you’ve found a missable trophy in Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2. It’s one of several missable trophies, which is why multiple playthroughs are necessary to be able to get them all. Another missable trophy achievement is The Justice dialogue option
