In Where Winds Meet, you’ll find valuable collectibles throughout your journey. Once you’ve gathered enough, you can submit them to upgrade your Melodies of Peace. Each successful offering grants rewards such as internal arts and mystic arts. In the first region, there are five types of Oddities, each with its own unique farming method.
Here’s how to get all Where Winds Meet Qinghe Oddities type in the game.
All Where Winds Meet Qinghe Oddities and How to Get Each of Them
In Qinghe region, there’s five types of Oddities: Redmist Beetle, Enchanting Lotus, Dagger General, Ironwing Mantis, and Whisper Hive.
Whisper Hive
A Whisper Hive is essentially a beehive that’s usually found at the tops of trees or attached to the sides of terrain or mountains. To collect one, use your bow and shoot the hive with fire arrows. It will burn, and you’ll need to climb up to claim it. Note that while trying to retrieve the hive, there’s a chance a nearby enemy, such as a bear, may be roaming around the area. You can also simply jump the tree and collect it that way. If you do not have any fire arrows. Warning though, you may end up with a bee sting injury

Enchanting Lotus
An Enchanting Lotus is a flower surrounded by purple butterflies that constantly swarm around it. It’s also covered by a purple miasma that inflicts a status effect on you. To collect the flower, shoot the butterfly swarms circling it using your bow and fire arrows. There can be anywhere from one to three swarms linked to a single lotus.

In some locations, it may be difficult to spot these butterflies. To make things easier, use the Wind Sense skill. It will reveal a purple trail or tether that points directly to the butterfly.

Ironwing mantis
Ironwing Mantis can be pretty annoying to collect. When you spot one, interact with it first, then it will immediately fly away. Chase it down, run after it, and capture it.

Dagger General
Dagger General is definitely one of the easiest Where Winds Meet Qinghe Oddities to collect, and also one of my favorites. When you reach the spot, you’ll find either a pile of rocks, wooden crates, or jars. Break them with your weapon to reveal the Dagger Generals hiding inside.

Redmist Beetle
Lastly, there’s the Redmist Beetle. You can find it above clusters of red mushrooms. To get this Oddity, look at the mushroom patch, then check directly above it, there will be fireflies hovering in the air. They’re usually high up, and even jumping several times may not reach them. To collect the beetle, look around for higher ground, whether it’s a tree or an elevated piece of terrain, and climb up to get close enough.
