Situated in the region of Violet Banyan is a quest known as When Moonlight Shines in the Forest. In Wuthering Waves this quest follows on from the events of the Dim Forest. Here both Qiaomu and Hoohoo have a particular interest in the moons.
Unlocking The When Moonlight Shines In The Forest Quest
To unlock this particular side quest simply make your way towards Violet Banyan, which is situated within the Dim Forest. East of the Forbidden Forest. Here we can find and speak with Qiaomu, who will thank you for your help previously within the forest. She will also be joined by her companion, Hoohoo.
Qiaomu will then ask you if your interested in Moon-watching.
The Tattered Booklet
Agree to help do some Moon-watching. Apparently we will be looking and doing some research on the artificial moons. Not the actual moon itself. We will now get a view of some kind of hanging ornament, in the shape of an artificial moon. We will receive a Tattered Booklet.
This Tattered Booklet will include quite a bit of text, though only some of which we really need. These bits of text is both highlighted in yellow and gives us hints as to how to solve our next problem. Our hints are as follows;
Behind a waterfall’s cascading slide?, At the moon pool’s alluring home?, Perched upon a tree stump’s crest? and In a cave where dry branches sway?
Now that we have our necessary clues we then want to speak with Qiaomu again. Who will actually mark down the locations we need regardless if these hints mean anything or not.
Search For The Artificial Moons (0/4)
Now either by using the hints that were given to us in the Tattered Booklet, or more easily, just by following the helpful quest markers that are now, nicely, dotted all over the area. We can begin our search for the artificial moons. They basically look like the hanging ornament that we were shown earlier.
If you open up your map you can also see your quest markers here too. There is, of course, four in total and we need to visit them all.
Once you have them all collected simply report back to Qiaomu to complete the quest. We will be rewarded with the When the Forest is No Longer Dark trophy achievement, x500 EXP, x40 Astrite and 18,000 Shell Credit.
