Marvel’s Avengers : Bruce Banner (Hulk) & Black Widow (Party Dialogue Banter) Compilation

Uncategorized Compilations / Easter Eggs

As you progress through the game you will no doubt encounter the various different party and character dialogues, these are often triggered by simply either walking up to the characters or standing next to them long enough.

Now we are obviously not on about the cinematic scenes as these only occur whilst you have the ability to control the characters.

I’ll also admit I personally didn’t encounter any of these until I had completed the actual story. Whether it was actually possible to trigger these prior to getting the games ending or not I’m unsure, so expect a few possible spoilers mixed in with these due to this and the fact I only collected these after completing the game. You have been warned!

This specific page will be dedicated to the various dialogues of the mighty Bruce Banner / Hulk. Bruce Banner was actually my personal favourite character in this game, thus I ended up going ham and I personally think that I managed to collect quite a lot of his dialogue amongst his fellow team mates. (I certainly covered more of his dialogue than any other character ha!) Anyway first up is the dialogue or banter between him and Black Widow

NOTE: This is all from the base game, I am unsure if I’ll be adding anything from the upcoming dlc or not

BRUCE BANNER (HULK) / BLACK WIDOW – PARTY DIALOGUE

ON BOARD CHIMERA

GREETINGS
BRUCE BANNER: Hey Nat, can I get you anything?
BLACK WIDOW: Got it all covered, thanks though
BRUCE BANNER: Oh! Wait, sorry – we’ll talk later. Just ah.. Just solved something. Need to write it down first
BRUCE BANNER: Hiding out in here, huh?
BLACK WIDOW: Maybe
BLACK WIDOW: Bruce?
BRUCE BANNER: Come on in, Nat.
GENERAL
BLACK WIDOW: AIM insists on arming their scientists. I’d almost feel bad punching them if they weren’t complete egomaniacs
BLACK WIDOW: I don’t want you to discount what you’ve been through. I can’t imagine what that was like
BRUCE BANNER: Thanks. That…means a lot
BLACK WIDOW: You’re allowed to be not okay
BRUCE BANNER: I’m starting to see that
BLACK WIDOW: If you need some rest, I’m going to call you out on it. Take care of yourself, alright?
BLACK WIDOW: Hey Doc. How’s the big guy?
BRUCE BANNER: Behaving, thank you
BRUCE BANNER: Okay, I gotta ask. You knew Kamala was looking for the Resistance in Utah, right?
BLACK WIDOW: I did..
BRUCE BANNER: And you knew where I was
BLACK WIDOW: Ah, I see where this is headed
BRUCE BANNER: Did you..maybe, you know.. Push a few chess pieces around, getting us to meet?
BLACK WIDOW: ‘Sigh’ I wish. Pure coincidence.
If I’d gotten to her in Jersey, she’d probably be with Hill right now
BRUCE BANNER: Yeah, I gave that idea a thought myself. You would of broken cover?
BLACK WIDOW: I did not that long after anyway. What’s a few days in the scheme of things?
BRUCE BANNER: You think Maria would of done a better job?
BLACK WIDOW: I don’t think she would’ve missed Kamala sneaking off to a heavily fortified prison on her own, but I also don’t think Kamala would’ve stuck around
BRUCE BANNER: Why not?
BLACK WIDOW: Maria wouldn’t of thought putting her on the front lines was the worth the risk. I’m glad you did.
BRUCE BANNER: Yeah, that seems to be the consensus
BRUCE BANNER: Natasha, is there anything still we have to address? Between you and me?
BLACK WIDOW: You know exactly how I feel about the general cleanliness of the common areas, but it’s not one of the compromises I’m prepared to make
BRUCE BANNER: No, I mean, what happened after A-Day
BLACK WIDOW: Why, do you still have a guilty conscience?
BRUCE BANNER: I think I’ve outsourced that job to Tony, actually.
BLACK WIDOW: I could pull some strings to spruce up the armory. Get ourselves some new toys to play with. Dangerous ones
BRUCE BANNER: There are choices I made that I wouldn’t make again. But in the moment, I thought I was doing the best for everyone involved
BLACK WIDOW: Road of good intentions
BRUCE BANNER: So where does that leave me?
BLACK WIDOW: I know better than anyone what Monica is capable of. She manipulated you. I don’t blame you for that.
BRUCE BANNER: Thank you. I..don’t know what else to say
BLACK WIDOW: This is an uncomfortable topic.
BRUCE BANNER: What’s on your mind?
BLACK WIDOW: You have taken quite a shine to the kid
BRUCE BANNER: I.. I owe her a lot. I can’t imagine where I’d be without her
BLACK WIDOW: I’m glad you see that
BLACK WIDOW: But I know how you are. You fixate
BRUCE BANNER: Natasha, that’s not fair-
BLACK WIDOW: And she’s not a project
BRUCE BANNER: I know that. Don’t you think I know that?
BLACK WIDOW: Would I be having this conversation if I did?
BLACK WIDOW: I’m not saying this to be cruel, Bruce
BRUCE BANNER: I know
BLACK WIDOW: I’m saying this because I need you to really understand. She is a person. She just needs you to be there. Nothing else.
BRUCE BANNER: .. I’m here
BLACK WIDOW: Good. Glad to have you
BLACK WIDOW: You’re looking a little worn out
BRUCE BANNER: Checking up on me now?
BLACK WIDOW: I check up on everyone, all of the time. You just don’t know it
BRUCE BANNER: I’ll take that in the spirit of concern, I guess..
BLACK WIDOW: I can’t wait to get back out there. The Chimera is great and all, just getting a little stir crazy in here
BLACK WIDOW: Whatever happens, don’t let the past weigh you down. Keep moving forward
BLACK WIDOW: Remember, information is power. The more we know about our enemies, the more lives we can save.
BLACK WIDOW: Never forget what AIM’s done to people. Remind them no bad deed goes unpunished
BLACK WIDOW: We need to work on our communication. You’d be surprised how many fights can be won in a matter of seconds
BLACK WIDOW: SHIELD’s slowly getting back into shape. Still got a long way to go, though
BRUCE BANNER: Got so used to being alone on this pile of junk. Feels a little weird to have people around again. A good weird though
BRUCE BANNER: The Hulk seems remarkably at ease on the Chimera. *Sigh* Perhaps his time here has alleviated his fear of flying
BRUCE BANNER: I uh .. I put in a request to further soundproof the Chimera. Think we could all use some peace and quiet
WHILST OUT IN COMBAT
BLACK WIDOW: You okay, Big guy?
HULK: *Grunt*
BLACK WIDOW: Ready for more?
HULK: *Roars*
BLACK WIDOW: Good
BRUCE BANNER INSPECTS BLACK WIDOW’S ROOM
BRUCE BANNER: Hiding out in here, huh?
BLACK WIDOW: Maybe
(INSPECTING THE WEAPON CASE)

BRUCE BANNER: Are all of these boxes full of weapons?
BLACK WIDOW: No, some of them are books. Oh those. Yeah, yeah that’s all weapons. I’d maybe avoid touching that.
(INSPECTING THE COMPUTER)

BRUCE BANNER: You ever hear anything from Fury?
BLACK WIDOW: No. You?
BRUCE BANNER: Not since A-Day
BLACK WIDOW: Hill’s working on it. We just have to hope he’s still out there
BLACK WIDOW INSPECTS BRUCE BANNER’S ROOM
BLACK WIDOW: Bruce?
BRUCE BANNER: Come on in, Nat.
(INSPECTING THE LAB EQUIPMENT)

BLACK WIDOW: Bruce, we have talked about this
BRUCE BANNER: And you know how I feel
BLACK WIDOW: I thought that after everything with Kamala-
BRUCE BANNER: It’s still going to take some time
(INSPECTING THE BOOK CASE)

BLACK WIDOW: So are these organized by author or subgenre?
BRUCE BANNER: … Both
BLACK WIDOW: You ever considered a career as a librarian?
BRUCE BANNER: It was my childhood dream. Ahem.
(INSPECTING THE PLANT)

BLACK WIDOW: Can I please make a green thumb joke?
BRUCE BANNER: Tony beat you to it
