Ah Mikhail, one of the leading members of the Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service (U.B.C.S.). Also, someone who doesn’t fully trust Jill Valentine to begin with knowing who and what Nemesis is truly after. Despite that Mikhail is a good guy at heart and a person with a pure heart and soul.
Sadly though just like with many other Resident Evil characters, life wasn’t nice to poor old Mikhail.
In both the Original and Remake he is first seen with an injury and of course being injured in the world of Resident Evil can only mean one thing. Well it all depends on what that injury is caused by, still…
Anyway Mikhail sadly dies in both the Original and Remake versions. Unlike some of the other scenes between the 2 games, this one is rather close in comparison.
For example in both Resident Evil 3 Original and Resident Evil 3 Remake, Mikhail is seen trying to shoot at Nemesis before blowing the Train Car and obviously killing himself in the process.
The only real difference though again it isn’t too much of an actual difference is the fact that the actual death in the Remake takes place on the outside Train Car considering Nemesis destroyed a good section of it.
Whilst in the Original, Mikhail dies whilst still inside the actual Train Car.

RESIDENT EVIL 3 (REMAKE)
Mikhail was the true hero of Resident Evil 3 and was a very brave soul in order to try and kill Nemesis and sacrifice himself in the process.
Sadly, it didn’t work but it did manage to buy Jill Valentine and her friends some time to get away and back to..well safety away from Nemesis, for now at least.
