Mother of Stones’ Boss Battle Techniques

Mother of Stones is a very unique boss. It is actually a rock that doesn’t move, but that doesn’t mean it can’t defend itself. It can summon smaller enemies to protect it. While these lesser Yaoguai don’t have much health, they can deal a decent amount of damage and, if you aren’t careful, they can pile up.
The lesser Yaoguai have three main tactics. They use a three-hit combination during close-range combat which should be dodged. They can summon crystal energy and fire it at you. Avoid their area of attack. Lastly, they will charge you, but this can be dodged as well.
A Pluck of Many spell, which conjures multiple versions of you, is a very useful spell for battles like this. It can help you distract or take down multiple enemies. Once you’ve dealt with the smaller enemies, you can then turn your focus to the Mother of Stone. Without any defenses, you can simply attack and wear down its health until it conjures another lesser Yaoguai for you to fight. Repeat this until it reaches 0 health.
