In this Black Myth: Wukong How to Defeat Supreme Inspector guide, we’re walking you through how to defeat this powerful boss in Chapter 6. The Supreme Inspector can be found in the Foothills. While you can interact with him in Chapter 4, the full boss battle isn’t available until Chapter 6. This is considered one of the longest boss battles, primarily because this boss flies around and has a lot of health. Read on to learn about the Supreme Inspector’s attack pattern and more.
Supreme Inspector’s Attack Patterns
The Supreme Inspector boss has eight different attacks, most of them aerial attacks. From a distance, the Supreme Inspector will throw multiple ice spears in your direction. When you see the spears go up, begin running before they hit you. In another attack, the boss will spin in the air before kicking you. As the boss begins to spin, dodge before he kicks at you. He’ll also jump into the air and come back down, creating red lightning that has an AOE. Begin moving away when you see him jump.
Next, the boss will trust one of his wings at you. If you see it fold, that’s your cue to get ready to dodge. In another aerial attack, the boss will fly up into the air and then charge you twice. These aren’t as fast as his other attacks, making them a bit easier to dodge. The boss will also swing his sword at you twice and then kick at you from the air, ending the combo with a lightning AOE attack. Dodge the first half of the combo. The boss will back up before doing his AOE attack, giving you time to run.
In his last three attacks, the Supreme Inspector uses fire. He has an AOE ring of fire attack. Start off standing close to the boss and then dodge the ring as it heads in your direction. The boss will also ride the fire wheel and attack you. Run around to avoid his attacks. Lastly, in another similar attack, the boss will ride the fire wheel and attack you with his sword. You can also run around to avoid this attack.
How to Defeat the Supreme Inspector
The Supreme Inspector flies around a lot, has a lot of health, and deals some pretty strong attacks, making it a challenging boss. Immobilize him to keep him on the ground and deal as many attacks as you can. Utilize counterattacks to get him near you as well. When the boss begins doing fire attacks, use the Plantain Fan to extinguish the fire. The fan can be acquired from Princess Iron Fan in Chapter 5.
