Cloudtreading Deer’s Attack Patterns
Despite there being two phases to the attack, the Cloudtreading Deer boss has a small set of attacks. He has six in total that range from wind attacks to kicks. In his more common attacks, the deer will shove you with his horn if you’re in front of it and back-kick you if you’re behind it. Keep a close eye on it since there are cues. If he brings his head down or turns his back to you, back up.
The boss will also use his horn in a similar attack to shove you, but sometimes a burst of wind will attack you from a distance. This can be dodged like the other attack. In another wind attack, the deer will scream and summon numerous tornadoes. Run around the battle area until they go away. While the tornadoes are present, the deer will leap around and try to slam you into the ground on the fourth leap. Run around to avoid this too.
Lastly, the boss has a ranged attack. It’ll summon balls of blood that will track you around the battle area. Run around and dodge when they get near you.
How to Defeat Cloudtreading Deer
When the Cloudtreading Deer reaches zero health, his health will refill and the second phase of the fight will begin. Save your spells, like Immobilize and Pluck of Many, for this half of the fight since the boss will be stronger. Stick with regular attacks during the first half.
