Quick As Fire / Fast As Wind can be found in the Woods of Ember in Chapter 5. There are two heads, one called Quick as Fire and the other called Fast As Wind. The former attacks with fire while rolling on the ground and the latter attacks with wind from the air. In this guide, we’ll talk about both of their attack patterns and the best way to defeat them.
Quick As Fire Boss Attack Patterns
Quick As Fire has two main attacks that deal fire damage. It’ll breathe fire while rolling across the battle area. While he rolls pretty quickly, you can avoid him and his fire by dodging. In another fire attack, he’ll leave streaks of fire across the ground. However, they don’t seem to be consistent which can make it hard to predict how to avoid them. Keep your distance until he stops.
Fast As Wind Boss Attack Patterns
Fast As Wind, while floating in the air, will blow wind projectiles which become tornados when they hit you. Dodge these projectiles right before they reach you. He’ll use Quick As Fire’s fire by sucking it up and shooting streaks of fire at you. Keep running until he stops.
How to Defeat Both Heads
Keep an eye on both enemies as best as you can. Attack Quick As Fire after he leaves streaks of fire across the ground or when he stops moving. Get underneath Fast As Wind and do a heavy attack to stagger him and bring him to the ground. You can use this time to hit him with light attacks in quick succession.
