The Bishui Golden-Eyed Beast is a large boss that walks on all fours and does fire damage. It can be found in the Bishui Caves. While its movements are on the slower side, it packs a mean punch. The Boss Attack Patterns
The Bishui Golden-Eyed Beast has four different attacks. In its most common attack, it’ll try to punch you by first swinging its left fist and then its right fist. To avoid these, dodge towards whichever fist is coming for you before it hits you. You’ll roll under the arm, causing the boss to miss.
Next, this boss has a charge attack, except it leaves flames in its wake. Dodge before it reaches you and then run away from it. Its two other attacks involve fire as well. Like a dragon, it’ll breathe fire in a semi-circle and it has a mid-range reach. Keep your distance when it’s breathing fire.
In a similar attack, the boss does a few moves before breathing fire. It’ll roar, jump to you, breathe fire, and then break the ground, causing an AOE. When you see the boss roar, start running away and dodge it when it jumps to you.
Strategies to Defeat Bishui Golden-Eyed Beast
Before fighting this boss, equip the Fireproof Mantle from Chapter 1 for fire resistance. This will help if one of its fire attacks gets you. You can start this fight strong by running in and immobilizing the boss before lands a hit on you. Use a Pluck of Many spell to deal as much damage as possible before immobilize wears off. Perform heavy attacks when possible to stagger the boss.
