Code Vein 2 Lyle Requests – How To Complete Lyle’s Side Quests

Code Vein 2 Lyle requests represent a series of side quests. The rewards include the Bloodletting Counter weapon forma.

How to Unlock and Complete Code Vein 2 Lyle Requests

The two prerequisites to unlocking Lyle’s side quests are:

• Slaying the Hero Lyle main quest.
• Timeline Shift Decision Lyle side quest.

Progress through the main story and complete the Slaying the Hero Lyle main quest, culminating in a boss fight against One-Armed Lyle. This will allow you to obtain Lyle’s fading bond and start the quest to save Lyle.

Once these two requirements are met, find Lyle in MagMell during the 2187/2197: Free Exploration Era. Interact with him and select the Catch Up option. After hearing the news about Craig’s medicine, you can partner up with Lyle and assist with his requests.

Lyle’s Request 1 – Defeat the Blood Bag Dealer

The first task takes place in the Miners’ Abandoned Village. Be wary, as you will walk into a mini-boss fight as soon as you reach the location.

The Blood Bag Dealer has two attack patterns:

• Leap and Slam Attack. The enemy leaps into the air and slams into the ground at your location. Dodge the attack and hit the enemy after he lands, as he takes a moment to recover.
• Weapon Slash. This attack can take three forms. The boss may perform a downward slash, a forward slash, or a side slash. Parry, dodge, or block to avoid.

Once you defeat the Blood Bag Dealer, the first request is complete. The reward includes a Chorus Stamina Tonic.

Code Vein 2 Lyle’s Request 2 – Collect Bloodline Masks

Return to MagMell and speak with Lyle to start the second request. This one takes longer to complete, as it has five objectives:

• Obtain the Mask of Ira.
• Obtain the Mask of Acedia.
• Obtain the Mask of Luxuria.
• Obtain the Mask of Invidia.
• Obtain the Mask of Gula.

Each objective requires you to defeat an elite enemy. These foes are more challenging than normal enemies, however, they don’t have special attack patterns.

The Mask of Ira

The Mask of Ira drops from the Ira Mask Avatar. From the Resurrection Monuments mistle, make a sharp left and go uphill to find the enemy.

The Mask of Acedia

The Mask of Acedia drops from the Acedia Mask Avatar. From the West Coast Pier mistle, travel east following the path. You will find the enemy in a large field, in front of a building.

The Mask of Luxuria

The Mask of Luxuria drops from the Luxuria Mask Avatar. From the Abandoned Farm mistle in the Undead Forest, travel south and make a right by the blue car near the cornfield.

The Mask of Invidia

The Mask of Invidia drops from the Invidia Mask Avatar. From the Hill Overlooking Clock Tower mistle, travel east to find the elite carrying this mask.

The Mask of Gula

The Mask of Gula drops from the Gula Mask Avatar. From the West Coast Pier mistle, head east and go around the cliff close to the Western Gatehouse Ruins to find the enemy.

After collecting all masks, head to the Pioneer Castle to complete Code Vein 2 Lyle Requests and obtain the Bloodletting Counter and Lyle’s Special Tonic.
