How to Fish in Crimson Desert

The first step to learning how to fish in Crimson Desert is to purchase a fishing rod from the Provisioner Shop in Hernand. It’s about 15 copper, or, alternatively, you can get it from Annabella after finishing her quest. A quick bit of advice whilst fishing is, whilst, you’re looking for a body of water to fish in, avoid fishing near rocks or obstacles. It can cause the line to get snagged, making your attempt at fishing fail. So try to choose an open spot, free of any obstacles.
Cast the Line

Now that you have the fishing rod and necessary equipment, plus have successfully managed to find a suitable body of water to fish in, equip the fishing rod from the inventory wheel. Press and then hold the aim button (L2 on the Playstation and LT on the XBox) Once you let go, the line will be cast.
This is where the waiting game will kick in. It can sometimes take a minute for the fish to bite, but eventually they will latch onto the bait.
Reeling It In

After the fish has been hooked, you need to press the hook button prompt. Move the rod in the direction opposite to where the fish is swimming. Your goal is to basically tire the fish out. Keep pulling it in the opposite direction, avoiding obstacles; as this could lead to it getting away and escaping
Eventually, the fish will tire itself out, which is when you want to take the initiative and start to finally reel it in. If the water isn’t splashing, then you know that it has finally stopped fighting you. Do not try to reel it in while it is still thrashing around;, otherwise, it will be able to get away, forcing you to start all over again.
Once you have a fish you can, then, turn them into filet by cleaning them, which is necessary for cooking food. Copper can also be randomly found by fishing too
And this is how you can go fishing in Crimson Desert!
