Crimson Desert The Truth on the Sand is an investigation mission in Urdavah. The mission consists of three quests, during which you must speak to several NPCs and answer the guard captain’s questions.

How to Start and Complete the Crimson Desert The Truth on the Sand Investigation
The Truth on the Sand investigation includes three quests:
- The Missing Contract and Chest Full of Gold Coins.
- Investigate.
- Contradiction.
The first quest, The Missing Contract and Chest Full of Gold Coins, requires you to talk to Rashim. Once the conversation ends, you will start the second quest, Investigate, during which you must talk to several people. Their locations appear as map markers, so you will have no issue finding them. Talk to each person and learn what they have to say about the theft.
Crimson Desert Contradiction Answers
The Contradiction quest automatically starts once you have spoken to all NPCs. Return to the guard captain and put together the information you have gathered.
Here are the correct Contradiction answers:
- What did the branchmaster have to say? – They were suspicious of Mahmoud, the one with the key.
- Did Mahmoud give you any statement? – He was away briefly at dawn, but insisted it’s not a problem as only Rashim, Shahina, and the guards know of the strongbox’s location.
- The scribe must have felt the strain, what did she say? – Paizel’s been poking around, wanting to know where the strongbox is kept.
- Did the guards share anything useful? – Nobody left the trading post that day, and everyone knew where the strongbox was.
- And what did the apothecary tell you? – They were away on a trade, and heard a rumor that Mahmoud’s gotten himself into gambling debt.
- What about Paizel? – They say a herb merchant at camp at dawn.
Once the conversation ends, the guard captain gives you a new task.
Follow the map marker, catch the outlaw, and deliver him to the captain back at the Saltroad Trading Post to conclude the Crimson Desert The Truth on the Sand quest.
