Dune Awakening Jasmium is a late-game crafting material. It is one of the ingredients required to make Duraluminum items. Let’s see how you can obtain it!
Dune Awakening Jasmium Mining Preparation
To extract Jasmium Crystals, you need to visit the Sheol region. This is the only location where you can find the material. The trouble with this place is that it is radioactive. Staying too long in this zone will cause your radiation level to rise. Once you get to 100% radiation, you will die. However, with the proper equipment, you can stay in Sheol long enough to get a decent haul.
Radiation Gear and Mining Tools
The items you need are:
- Mk4 Radiation Suit.
- Iodine Pills.
- Mk4 Industrial Cutteray.
Mk4 Radiation Suit
To be able to craft the suit, you need to research it first. Open the Research menu, find the Combat section, and look for the suit schematics in the Aluminum Products category. Spend 20 Intel to unlock it. This suit offers 90% radiation protection. When you are in Sheol, check the containers for the Mk5 Radiation Suit that offers 92% protection.
Iodine Pills
In the Research menu, find the Iodine Pill schematics in the Exploration section under the Duraluminum Products category. Spend 30 Intel to unlock this consumable that offers 3% radiation protection. Note that you need Duraluminum Ingots to craft the pills, meaning that you have to make do without them on your first trip to Sheol.
Mk4 Industrial Cutteray
This is the tool that allows you to mine Jasmium Crystals. To unlock the schematics, check the Aluminum Products category and spend 20 Intel to research it. Don’t bother with a lower quality tool, as it won’t work.
Dune Awakening Jasmium Extraction
The crystals you are looking for are large rocks with green veins. Check out the Edge of Acheron and Limbo areas in Sheol, as these are the best places to find them. The crater in the middle of the area is also a good spot. Keep in mind that the suit and pills don’t offer 100% protection. Check the radiation level and leave when you get to around 80% to avoid full irradiation.
