Dune Awakening – How to Respec

Dune Awakening

Dune Awakening has plenty of skills for you to learn and, so, being able to respec is essential. Not only are players able to assign skills to their chosen, base class, that they get when they first start the game but they can also unlock skills in other classes by finding trainers!

However, you can also refund and redistribute your skill points in game which Dune Awakening lets you do pretty easily. Read on to learn more!

How to Respec in Dune Awakening

To Respec your skills in this game it’s pretty easy. You can go right to your skills tab in the options and just press down on the d pad or R on the controller. This lets you refund all of your skill points. There is no need to go to a vendor and nor do you need to gather resources.

The button is literally called the Respec Skill tree, so this makes it pretty easy to do! The only skill that you are going to retain is the one from your player’s starting class so don’t be shocked when your base skill remains.

If only it were easy in other games then we’d be living the dream, gamer life!

Time Limits on Respecing

Even though it’s easy to respec, you need to understand that there are a few caveats. For one, you can’t swap the class you started out with for another if that isn’t obvious anymore. The only way to do this is to start a completely new character.

Also there is a cool down on respec. Once you do respec your skill tree, you need to wait 48 hours until you can do it again. We don’t mean 48 in game hours but rather 48 hours in the real world. So if you do spend your points and then decide you want to change your build again, your going to have to wait two days before you can do it again.
