How to Reach Lamenter’s Gaol In Elden Ring
Lamenter is located at Lamenter’s Gaol. To reach this point, begin at the Castle Front site of grace and follow the path southeast until you reach the Pillar Path site of grace. From here, cut through the Dragon’s Pit and exit through the Dragon’s Pit Terminus. Follow the path east until you reach water and then turn south. Once you reach the Grand Altar of Dragon Communication, head west and then turn north. Go through Charo’s Hidden Grave and head northwest to reach Lamenter’s Gaol site of grace, which is located in the cave.
Upper Gaol Level Key Location
Follow the cave and make a left turn right before you reach the locked gate. Follow that tunnel and turn into the second doorway on the right. There is a chest at the end with the Gaol Upper Level Key. Return to the locked gate and use the key.
Lower Gaol Key Location
Descend the ladder right past the doorway and go through the door on the right. Go around the ice column and turn right, using the natural steps in the rock to ascend to another doorway. Continue straight until the floor collapses.
Once you land, turn left and take the stairs on the right up two flights, and go through the doorway on the right. Jump the gap and keep going straight. Drop down the cliff and go left, where you’ll see a chest guarded by an enemy that looks like a cauldron with arms. The Gaol Lower Level key is in the chest.
Once you have it, turn around and go back the way you came, jumping up the cliff. After you jump over the gap and go out the doorway, go right and up the next flight of stairs. After you drop down into another room, use the key on the gate. Take the ladder in the next room down. There you find the doorway to traverse the mist and face Lamenter.
How to Defeat Lamenter in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree
Lamenter is a fairly easy boss compared to others you’ll face. He uses short-range melee attacks. As you fight him, he will make duplicates of himself. Attack them to figure out which one is the real boss. The copies will die in one hit while the boss will remain and take damage if you hit him.
