In Grounded 2, expect to farm a lot of resources in order to survive. Unfortunately, you cannot hoard everything as your inventory can only handle so much. Fortunately, Grounded 2 has storage options that you can utilize to keep items without them occupying your bag. Just as other items, it only needs certain materials to craft.

Here’s how to store items in Grounded 2, and how to craft storage.

How to Craft Storage in Grounded 2?

You can store items in Grounded 2 in Storage Baskets and Storage Chests. Each of these storage options have different crafting materials and storage sizes.

Crafting Storage to Store Items in Grounded 2

Storage Baskets

Storage Baskets are tiny storages that is unlocked by analyzing Clover Leaf. To make this, get 4 Clover leaf and 3 Crude Rope. You can get Clover Leaf nearly everywhere in the overworld. Meanwhile, to get Crude Rope, you will have to combine three Plant Fiber, or use a Spinning Wheel.

Storage Baskets can hold up to 20 items.

The Storage Chest

Storage Chests on the other hand need Acorn Shell to be unlocked. You’ll need 2 Clover Leaf, 4 Acorn Shell and Sap to craft them. Acorn Shells are obtained by busting down Acorns, while Sap are obtained from collecting Sap, building a Sap Catcher and destroying Sap Clumps.

The Storage Chest is twice as big as the Storage Basket and can hold up to 40 items.

Can you store food in Grounded 2?

Yes, you can store food in Grounded 2. However, if you’re using the regular Storage Basket and Storage Chest, it will eventually spoil. So when storing food, we recommend using the Fresh Storage instead. Fresh Storage is a special storage that prevents food spoilage. This way, you can just farm food without worrying about losing them.

You can craft Fresh Storage by using 6 Pine Needle, 5 Mint Shard, and 5 Blue Butterfly Scales.
