Especially if you’re still in the early game, you’ll need quite a lot of Sap in Grounded 2 in order to survive in the game.
Sap is one of the most heavily used resources in Grounded 2. It’s used for many useful things such as making armors, Nifty needle, torch, Sturdy Shell, and of course the Fiber Bandages. Sap is pretty much everywhere, but it can be a hassle to grab them everytime while managing other tasks in the game.
With that in mind, here are the best ways to farm Sap in Grounded 2.
How to farm Sap in Grounded 2
There are three main ways to farm Sap in Grounded 2: collecting saps, destroying sap clumps and using a Sap Catcher.
Collecting Sap in Grounded 2
This is the most straightforward way of collecting Sap. Find any tree branch across the map or look for the Oak Tree near the Snackbar outpost and you’re sure to find multiple saps attached to it. Go near these saps, and press E to get them. They do respawn though, so keep their locations in mind if there’s any near your base.

Destroying Sap clumps
In some spots, you can find some Sap clumps that you can bust using your Omni-tool. They are large chunky blobs that you can normally find in oak tree and tree branches.
Sap Catcher
This is personally our favorite method of farming Sap in Grounded 2. All it takes is building and placing Sap Catchers on walls or tree branches, and you’ll be able to passively collect Sap over time. Each Sap Catcher can hold up to 5 Sap and produces it gradually. You can get one every 10 real-time minutes.

In order to build Sap Catcher, you’ll need the following materials:
- 1 Acorn Top
- 2 Weed Stem
- 4 Crude Rope
