In Grounded 2, there’s a ton of stuff to collect for building your base, making furniture, weapons, armor, and more. One of these materials is the Weed Stem. You’ll need it for things like the Hatchery and plenty of other builds. They’re not that hard to find, but if you’re not sure what to look for, it can feel a bit tricky at first. Here’s how to get Weed Stem in Grounded 2.
How to get Weed Stems in Grounded 2
You can get Weed Stems by chopping down Husky Weeds and Dandelions.
If you’re still early in the game and planning to build a Hatchery, there are two easy spots to grab these resources.
Near the entrance of the Snackbar Anthill, check the area for Dandelions. They’re tall, thin plants with big, round, fluffy white heads. You could also find a few near the Ranger Outpost: Snackbar. Just look up, they’re hard to miss.
Husky Weeds, on the other hand, can be found right in front of the Ranger Outpost: Snackbar. Like Dandelions, they’re easy to find as they are darker than grass flowers. But don’t bother trying unless you already have the Omni-tool Axe II. Without it, you can’t chop them down.
Once you cut them, gather all the Weed Stems they drop. These don’t go straight to your inventory you’ll need to carry them in your arms. You can carry up to five at a time, but since the Hatchery needs six, you’ll either have to grab a buddy to help or make a second trip to haul the last one.
Nevertheless, Weed Stems are pretty common in the wild and you can find them nearly everywhere.
