How to Get Flower Petals in Grounded 2

Flower petals can be harvested from Hosta plants. You are able to harvest them by attacking them with your weapon. They are deep purple flowers, so it’s really impossible to miss them!

The best place to find the hosta flowers is in the picnic table area. There are several flowers blooming, include loose petals on the table itself, on the ground, and possibly in some items like a bottle! They also can be around the statue in the far east of the park.

Finding a Flower Petal in Grounded 2

To break up a whole flower, you need to interact with it. This will cause the flower to burst apart, leaving you with a bunch of flower petals. Go on and collect them all so you can get started crafting! (Keep in mind that at this point in the game the only flowers you can harvest for the moment are the Purple Hostas.

With the flower petals collected, you can start crafting some items. Even though the game is still in early access, there are still some items that you can craft. This includes the Ladybug shin guards and chest place which offer a decent amount of protection.

When you’re going to be traversing an area with giant bugs (well, giant to you) then you’re going to want the best armor that the game has to offer! The grinder also needs flower petals, so keep that in mind as well.

As the game gets farther along in Early Access, there are likely going to be plenty more recipes you can use to craft with flower petals, so collect as many as you can. Never hurts to have to many ingredients.
