Hades 2 Unfamiliar Forms – How To Customize Your Familiars’ Appearance

Hades 2 Unfamiliar Forms is an achievement that requires Melinoe to alter the appearance of her familiars. To earn this achievement, you must first unlock the Alteration of Familiar Forms Incantation.

How to Unlock the Hades 2 Unfamiliar Forms Achievement

Melinoe gains the ability to change her minions’ aspect once she unlocks the Alteration of Familiar Forms Incantation from Circe.

How to Learn the Alteration of Familiar Forms Incantation in Hades 2

It takes quite a while until Circe offers the Alteration of Familiar Form Incantation. Start by unlocking all five animal companions. Upgrade at least one of them to max level. In the meantime, work on your relationship with Circe.

To max out Melinoe’s relationship with Circe, you need:

• Nectar x6.
• Ambrosia x2.

You also need to have maximum Arcana Grasp. Complete Odysseus’ quest and exhaust all his dialogue options as well. Odysseus’ task features Circe, so you will unlock additional dialogue lines with Circe. If all of these conditions are met and Circe still doesn’t offer the Incantation, equip her keepsake and bring a familiar when interacting with her. She will eventually mention your pets and teach you the Incantation.

How to Customize Familiars and Unlock the Unfamiliar Forms Achievement

Once you learn the Alteration of Familiar Forms Incantation, return to the Crossroads and perform it. Then, interact with all five familiars and use all the customization options.

Frinos, the Toad Alteration Options include;

Familiar, Daemonic, Cherubic, Moon-Touched, Nightmarish

Toula, the Cat Alteration Options Include;

Familiar, Chthonic, Daemonic, Magickal, Nightmarish

Raki, the Raven Alteration Options Include;

Familiar, Cthonic, Vernal, Moon-Touched, Nightmarish

Hecuba, the Hound Alteration Options Include;

Familiar, Chaotic, Daemonic, Huntress, Nightmarish

Gale, the Polecat Alteration Options Includes;

Familiar, Hypnotic, Olympic, Infernal, Nightmarish

Try out all the available alteration options for each familiar and you will earn the Unfamiliar Forms achievement.
