Heartopia is a life simulation and much like every other game in the market, you can farm and you can cook. One of the ingredients that you’ll surely search for, especially if you’re grinding for gold is the Mushroom. In Heartopia, there are several mushroom types.

All Mushroom locations in Heartopia

In Heartopia, there are different types of mushrooms: Button, Shiitake, Oyster, Penny Bun, Black Truffle, and Matsutake. Note that each mushroom type is located in only one area, and each has rare, bizarre variants.

Where to find Oyster Mushroom in Heartopia

Players can find the Oyster mushroom in the northern part of the map, specifically in Onsen Mountain. Oyster mushrooms appear gray and are usually found near rocks, fences, and at the foot of trees.

Where to Find Black Truffle Mushroom in Heartopia

Meanwhile, Black Truffle Mushroom is located on the Forest Island, found near the East Sea. Unlike other mushroom types, you’ll have to look for dirt and dig it to get black truffles.

Where to find Button Mushrooms

Go to the Flower Field area in order to get Button Mushrooms. These are white button-like mushrooms that you can find near trees, fences, poles and under the cliffs.

Where to find Penny Bun mushrooms in Heartopia

On the other hand, Penny Bun mushrooms can be found in the Forest area. These are thick mushrooms with a brown cap and a pale stem, usually found at the foot of trees.

Where to Find Shiitake mushroom

Shiitake mushrooms can be farmed within the Fishing Village. They can be found beneath trees, near rocks, or along fences.

Where to Find Matsutake mushroom in Heartopia

Lastly, the game mentions a mushroom called Matsutake. It is located within the Spirit Oak Pine Forest, but note that this mushroom is extremely rare. If you didn’t spot any Matsutake, it may be worth checking again the next day or waiting until a higher level is reached.
