How to Dye Furniture in Heartopia

In Heartopia, players can change the color of their furniture by dyeing it. While the color options are somewhat limited, this feature still gives plenty of freedom to decorate your home just the way you like.

To dye furniture, you’ll need three things: a workbench, dye, and the furniture you want to customize.

The workbench is unlocked early in the game, and Heartopia will guide you on placing it on your lot to make it usable. Dye, on the other hand, is a consumable item, you can either earn it as a reward or purchase it.

Here’s how to dye your furniture in Heartopia step by step:

Go to a workbench
Select the dye button, the icon that looks like a paintbrush, next to craft
Pick the furniture that you want to dye
Tap ‘Start Dyeing’
Select the part that you want to dye and change color
Once satisfied, press Confirm

Now, this will consume dye depending on how many parts you changed. One part will consume one dye.

How to Get Dye in Heartopia

In Heartopia, there are a few ways to get dyes. The easiest but somewhat costly method is to buy them from Ka Ching, located in the northwestern part of the Suburbs.

Interact with Ka Ching to access the General Store, which offers a variety of items like repair kits, workbenches, fireworks, party poppers, puzzle boxes, and, of course, dye.

Each dye costs 100 gold coins, and there’s no limit to how many you can purchase, so feel free to stock up.
