In Heartopia, there’s no shortage of activities to dive into, from cooking and fishing to gardening and crafting. While these activities are fun, they also require time, resources, and gold to keep going. Now, if you want to earn gold, and free up your storage at the same time, it may be the time to sell items.
Here’s how to sell items in Heartopia.
How to Sell Items in Heartopia
You can start selling items in Heartopia by looking for the Gold Merchant.
In the Suburbs, the Gold Merchant is known as Albert Jr., a young boy wearing a brown bucket hat. Unlike most NPCs who remain static in one location, Albert Jr. tends to roam around the Suburbs, so finding him may require a bit of walking around the area.

Once Albert Jr. is located, approach him, initiate a conversation, and select “Sell Items.”
This will open the selling menu, which displays the full inventory, including items stored in both the backpack and the warehouse. Any item that can be sold will appear here, making it easy to offload extra materials or unwanted goods for gold. Players can sell a wide variety of items, including food, furniture, crops, forageables, fish, and more.

Currently, this is the only way to sell items in Heartopia, and there is no option to negotiate or increase selling prices. However, players who own the Gilded Acorn Full Membership will receive 1.1x more gold when selling items. The Full Membership is priced at $2.99.
After selecting the items to sell, simply tap the Sell button, and the gold will be added to your account immediately.
