Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Mad Priest is a fieldwork side quest in the Vatican. Should you complete this side mission, you are treated with an extra cutscene and a trophy. Let’s get to it!

How to Start the Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Mad Priest Side Quest

Follow the main story until you reach the Post Office, where you meet Ernesto, the NPC that sells you the camera. Opposite Ernesto’s office, you will notice a table with a letter on it. Collect the letter and read it.

You will find out that Sister Catherine Bennet is waiting for a delivery from Antonio. She wants to learn more about the Mad Priest Crescenzo. The fieldwork quest starts as soon as you pick up the letter.

Sister Catherine

Follow the clue in the letter and make your way to the Sistine Chapel to meet Sister Catherine. You can reach the Sistine Chapel through the Borgia Courtyards or take the shortcut through the Apostolic Palace. You will find Sister Catherine on the left.

Interact with her and discover what item she was expecting from Antonio. The delivery in question is Father Crescenzo’s Journal. This priest from the 16^th century supposedly knew a secret Sister Catherine wants to uncover.

How to Reach the Sewers

Return to Antonio’s Office and wait for Antonio to finish his conversation with Father Ventura. Talk to Antonio to receive the Sewer Key. Don’t forget to get Ventura’s Letter from the desk before leaving.

Take Antonio’s advice and make your way to the Tower of Nicholas the Fifth to reach the sewer entrance. This is just across the way from the Post Office. You can use the roofs to quickly get there. Enter the Tower from the connecting roof through the open window. Jump down and follow the quest marker.

You will arrive at the staircase leading to the sewers. Take the stairs down and be wary of the guard near the sewer’s gate. Unlock the gate with the key from Antonio. The next step is to find the entrance to the palace.

How to Find the Palace Entrance and Crescenzo’s Journal

Go through the gate and follow the main sewer path. You will reach a flooded area. Use the wooden planks to get on the stone bridge and jump on the pipes. Follow the pipes to the right and climb up. When the pipe breaks, use your whip to swing across and grab the pipe on the other side.

Reach the small wooden platform and use the whip one more time to get on the upper platform. Another swing of the whip will take you into the main building. Climb up the stairs and make sure to unlock the exit before you continue the search for the journal.

Go up the long set of stairs and use the Clerical Key to unlock the Apostolic Palace entrance. Grab the journal from the chest and exit the building through the unlocked door. Return to Sister Catherine to end the quest and receive 225 Adventure Points and The Mad Priest trophy achievement.
