This is because it’s generally easier to acquire the money to make each Facility Upgrade directly, rather than gathering the resources to upgrade the Workshop through crafting.

- Unlock Julie’s Workshop. Before you can even think about conducting Facility Upgrades, you actually need to unlock access to Julie’s Gearworks. Luckily, this is very simple, and you simply need to complete Chapter Two to unlock it for the first time.
