In this Legend Of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak Bazaar Burglar Quest guide, we’re covering the location of each person you need to talk to and more. This is an optional quest located in Edith during the third chapter. It’s given to you by Manager Fazil, who has spotted a girl shoplifting again. He doesn’t want the headache that comes with getting a guild or the police involved and has asked you to help.
Beginning the Bazaar Burglar Quest
The Bazaar Burglar quest can be picked up from the bulletin board in the Cultural District. Once it’s added to your to-do list, meet Manager Fazil in the bazaar section of the Cultural District. When the game asks if you’d like to “Accept” or “Hold Off” on the quest, select “Accept” if you’re ready to begin. You’ll get a new conversation topic to ask the NPCs with green markers: Pickpocket Girl at the Bazaar.
Ask About the Girl
There are six NPCs you need to talk to. With Manager Fazil at your back, turn left and go through the first door on your left and enter the Tharbad Temple. Go to the front of the room and speak to Vicar Mukhtar.
From the Tharbad Temple, exit the building, turn right, and immediately turn left and head up a set of stairs. Turn right at the top. Follow the path as it curves and go through the door on the left with the red crest above it. This is the Bracer Guild’s building. Speak to Receptionist Jibril behind the counter.
The rest of the NPCs are in the Bazaar market area. Exit the Bracer’s Guild, turn left, then turn right and go down the stairs. At the bottom, turn left and go to the second stall on the left with the purple dishes on display and speak to Balsheh.
Go to the stall right across from Balsheh and speak to Rasham, the man in the green shirt.
Go two stalls down from Rasham and speak to Monir.
Turn around and speak to Jaret at the stall across from Monir.
The Burglar’s Fate
After you’ve spoken to all the NPCs, your group discusses what you’ve discovered. You can then talk to Monir or Jaret and enlist their help in catching the shoplifter. Things don’t go according to plan and she gets away. After the cutscene plays, search for the girl in a parking lot. The girl is hiding in the red car. Approach it to catch her and bring her back to Manager Fazil.
The manager isn’t sure what to do with her and the game asks: What should I tell him?
Your first option is “Leave her with the temple.” This choice will give you 2 points in law and 1 point in gray.
Your second option is “Have the manager take her in.” This choice gives you 2 points in gray and 1 point in law.
You’re rewarded for completing this quest with 3,500 Mira.
