In this Legend Of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak What Once Was Lost Quest guide, we’re going over who you need to talk to in order to find the stranger. This is an optional quest in Edith in Chapter 2, given to you by Shino. One of Shino’s customers left a bag with a gun in it and she asks you if you can help her find the stranger. You’re rewarded for completing this quest with 2,500 Mira. Depending on the choice you make at the end of the quest, you’ll also get a small raise to the law or chaos alignment.
Beginning the What Once Was Lost Quest In Trails Through Daybreak
To activate this quest, speak to Shino at her bar in the Riverside District. After talking to Shino, the quest information pops up and you can “Accept” or “Hold Off”. Select “Accept” if you are ready to begin the quest. You discover that there’s a gun in the bag left at Shino’s bar. You unlock the topic “Stall Customer Characteristics”. Now, you need to find two people in Edith who have seen the stranger.
Go to the Blue Score Concert Hall
The first person you need to speak to is in the Blue Score Concert Hall in the Riverside District. From Shino’s bar, go left under the bridge and up the set of stairs on the right. On the other side of the railing to your left is another set of stairs. Go down the stair and through the doors with the sign “Blue Score” above them. Speak to the ticket clerk inside. He’s behind the counter on your right. Approach him to begin the conversation and select “Stall Customer Characteristics”. He’ll tell you more about the person you’re looking for and mention that he left to go to the cinema.
Go to the Cinema in Tyrell District
Your next objective is to go to the Esprit Cinemas in the Tyrell District. The fastest way to get there is to open your travel menu, go to the Tyrell District, and then select Esprit Cinema. Go right up to the woman behind the counter on the left and talk to her. She also tells you that the man is no longer there, but she gives you your next lead.
Go to the Subway Entrance
Head to the Subway Entrance. From the counter, turn around and go out the double doors on your right. Turn right and go down the street. Right before you reach the road with the cars, turn right. There’s a set of stairs going into the subway by the buildings on the right. The man you have been looking for is in the subway and you can finally speak to him. During the conversation, you have two options.
The first option is “Talk him out of it” which is the lawful choice that will raise your law alignment at the end of the quest.
The second option is “Pretend to abandon him” which is the chaos choice that will raise your chaos alignment at the end of the quest.
