In today’s guide, we’re covering the Legend Of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak Missing Sister Quest. This is a semi-required quest located in Edith during the second chapter. The quest giver, Jonas, claims that he is looking for his little sister, whom he was separated from long ago when his parents got divorced. However, you learn there is more to the story in an unexpected turn of events.
Beginning the Missing Sister Quest
The Missing Sister side quest can be picked up at the Bulletin Board in the Riverside District. Once the quest is added to your to-do list, speak to Jonas at the Cafe and Bar Bermotti. The client, Jonas, is sitting at a table outside of the cafe. Speak with him to learn more about his situation. He tells you the story of how he and his sister, Jessica, were separated when they were young.
Information about the quest appears on your screen after the conversation. You can either “Accept” or “Hold Off” on the quest. Accept the quest now if you are ready to begin. You get a new conversation topic: Photo of Jonas’s Younger Sister.
Searching for Jessica
To find Jessica, you need to talk to three people. The first two people can be found near the McMillian Cafe. To get there, open your travel map, go to the Tyrell District, and select McMillian Cafe.
Once you load in, turn around and go out the door behind you. Turn left and speak to the man in the white hat and trench coat in the middle of the street. His name is Shakar. Select the new topic of conversation. Shakar tells you that he is a talent scout and has seen Jessica at the cafe nearby. She stopped frequenting there about a month ago. He suggested talking to the servers.
Go back inside the cafe you just left and speak to the server in the pink dress named Lucia. She says that she and Jessica were close and that they used to work together at the Orbal Cafe. Jessica quit her job and moved a month ago, and Lucia has no idea where she went. She suggests talking to the owner of the Orbal Cafe, their old boss named Ilhan.
Open your travel map, select Station Street, and then the Orbal Cafe Iota. Once there, go up the stairs on the left and speak to the man in the green shirt and white vest behind the counter. Ilhan claims he doesn’t know where Jessica moved to. Van reveals that he is a Spriggian, not the police, and this convinces Ilhan to open up a bit more. He contacts Jessica to set up a meeting.
Confronting Jonas
Sit in the booth in the back left corner to wait for Jessica. When she arrives, Van tells Jessica everything Jonas told him. She’s never heard of a brother or anything of that nature. Van asks if someone has ever taken photos of her without her consent. She reveals this is why she moved away. It turns out Jonas is not her brother, but her stalker.
Van suggests Jessica hire him so they can turn the tables. They go back to Jonas and confront him. During the time jump, Van also learned that Jonas had been stalking other women. Jonas tries to attack you and Feri disarms him. You have two options.
The first option is “Hand him to the police” which is the lawful choice that will raise your law alignment at the end of the quest.
The second option is “Blackmail him” which is the chaos choice that will raise your chaos alignment at the end of the quest.
You are rewarded for completing the quest with 2,500 Mira. If you return to Ilhan at the Orbal Cafe and speak with him, you can get a hidden reward. He will give you 3 Excellent Milk Lattes.
