In today’s guide, we’re covering Legend Of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak Change of Heart Quest. Change of Heart is a semi-required quest found in Edith during Chapter 3. The quest is given to you by a man named Bruno. He has something that he wishes to return to its rightful owner, and he needs your help to do that.
Beginning the Change of Heart Quest
You can pick up the Change of Heart quest at the bulletin board in the Riverside District. Once you have the quest, meet Bruno on the bridge in Riverside. To get there, fast travel to the Terrace Ara in the Riverside District. Turn around and go up the stairs. Go to the bridge on your right and speak to the man in a white and blue shirt. Bruno used to be a thief and wants to return a locket he stole 20 years ago.
When prompted, you can either “Accept” or “Hold off” on the quest. Accept the quest if you’re ready to begin.
Go to the Maserati Hotel
Fast travel to the Maserati Hotel in the Seiden district. Speak to the hostess, the woman with the blonde ponytail, who is walking around. She mentions that there was a terrorist attack at the hotel 20 years ago. The owner of the locket, Senator Taylor, was killed during the attack. She suggests speaking to Senator Polanski.
You get a new topic of conversation: Senator Taylor. Senator Polanski is sitting at the table next to you, across from a woman with red hair. Approach him and select the topic of conversation. Senator Polanski tells you about Senator Taylor’s fate. The terrorist followed him to the hotel and killed him, but his son survived. The group begins to suspect that Bruno was somehow a part of the terrorist attack.
Speak to Huck at the Laguna Bathhouse In Change Of Heart Quest
Meet Huck at the Laguna Bathhouse in Old Town. To get there, go to your travel map, select Old Town, then select Subway Entrance. From your spawn point, follow the path on your left that goes under the bridge. When the road begins to curve, go through the wooden door on your right. Huck is sitting at a table by the entrance on your right. Speak to him with the same topic of conversation.
Huck tells the group that the two culprits were caught. An intruder helped Senator Taylor’s son escape. He suggests speaking to the Editor-in-Chief of Tyrell Times, Sullivan. You get a new topic of conversation: Roderick.
Reunite Roderick and Bruno
Next, go to the Tyrell Times in the Tyrell District. Speak to the woman in the red dress. Select the new dialogue topic. She tells you that she is still in contact with Roderick and she calls him. Roderick agrees to meet you by the terrace over by the station, and he asks that you bring Bruno with you.
Return to Bruno at the same location on the bridge and give him the news. The game asks you “How should Bruno meet Roderick?” and you have two options.
The first option is “Meet him as the thief” which is the lawful choice that will raise your law alignment at the end of the quest.
The second option is “Pretend to be someone else” which is the gray choice that will raise your gray alignment at the end of the quest.
No matter your choice, you still gain a point in both gray and chaos alignment at the end of the quest. You are also rewarded with 3,500 Mira.
