How to Unlock All Marvel Cosmic Invasion Characters
The characters available from the start are:
- Captain America.
- Wolverine.
- Storm.
- Spider-Man.
- She-Hulk.
- Cosmic Ghost Rider.
- Beta Ray Bill.
- Nova.
- Rocket Racoon.
- Iron Man.
- Black Panther.
To unlock the remaining four characters, you need to complete certain story missions.
Marvel Cosmic Invasion Unlockable Superheroes
Completing story missions gives you access to four more Marvel Cosmic Invasion Characters:
- Phoenix.
- Venom.
- Phyla-Vell.
- Silver Surfer.
How to Unlock the Phoenix
Jane Grey, aka the Phoenix, is the first Marvel Cosmic Invasion Character you get to unlock. At the end of the sixth mission, Blue Area of the Moon: Full Moon of the Insectoids, you must defeat Phoenix as the end boss. Once you have bested her, she joins the squad.
How to Unlock Marvel Cosmic Invasion Venom
Venom is the final boss of the eighth game mission, Destrumundo: The Flying Menageries. He is a tough enemy. If you choose Captain America or She-Hulk, you will have an easier time defeating Venom, as both of these characters are able to counter his attacks.
How to Unlock Phyla-Vell
At the end of the 10th mission, Hala: The Kree/Bugs Wars, the game pits you against Phyla-Vell. You can play this character in the prologue, but you must defeat Phyla-Vell in battle to unlock her as a playable superhero.
How to Unlock Silver Surfer
Silver Surfer is the last unlockable character. You will meet him several times throughout the 12th mission, Fort Galactus: Free the Eater of Worlds. However, he joins the Marvel Cosmic Invasion Characters roster after you give him a proper beating at the end of the mission.
How Long Does It Take to Beat the Campaign
The Marvel Cosmic Invasion campaign includes 16 levels, the tutorial/prologue and 15 replayable missions. Each mission has three optional challenges and a hidden collectible, the green Cosmic Cube. If you’re looking to unlock all Marvel Cosmic Invasion Characters as soon as possible, you can simply rush through the missions. It takes 10-15 minutes to beat the last boss. If you’re aiming for full completion, it will take you 30 minutes or longer per mission. You can always revisit a mission, so it’s not necessary to beat all challenges and collect the green Cosmic Cubes in one go.
