Metaphor ReFantazio A Bullish Embargo is one of the first available side quests. It takes place within the Belega Corridor, where you will encounter the Grotesque Guptauros. Let’s see how to unlock this side task and where you need to go to complete it.

Metaphor ReFantazio A Bullish Embargo – Quest Prerequisites

You can undertake A Bullish Embargo once you have Wisdom level 2. If you are not there yet, there are two quick things you can do to raise your Wisdom level.

• Go to Sunlumeo Street to meet Young Nidia and complete the Help the Hushed Honeybee quest.
• Check out the Royal Capital view east of Brigitta, the NPC that tasks you with a Bullish Embargo.

Now, you can go to Brigitta and start the quest. Your objective is to travel to the Belega Corridor and kill the Grotesque Guptauros boss.

How to Prepare for the Quest

First of all, notice that this quest has no deadline. If your party comrades are not at least level 10, you can postpone the pursuit until they reach that level.

The recommended party setup is as follows:

• Protagonist: Seeker Archetype.
• Hulkenberg: Knight Archetype.
• Sthrol: Warrior Archetype.

Don’t take any Healers or Mages because mace and staff users enrage the monsters in the Belega Corridor dungeon. Equip your characters with the best equipment that is available at this stage.

It takes one day to go to the Belega Corridor and back. It’s a fast trip. As far as supplies go, restoration items are a must. Don’t waste them because you will not find vendors in the Belega Corridor.

Metaphor ReFantazio A Bullish Embargo – Quest Walkthrough

The First Floor

You will find yourself on the first floor of the Belega Corridor. The path downstairs takes you to the second floor closer to the quest objective.

If you want to explore the entire dungeon, make a right into the corridor. You will have to fight your way through several enemies. Defeat the Goborns and take the right to collect a Balm of Life from the chest. Go out and head north. Go through the gap and walk straight. After taking down the enemies here, collect the Fairy Dust and take the stairs down. You will arrive at the same location as if you took the stairs down in the beginning.

The Second Floor

To continue on the shortest way to the boss, go east and enter the first door on the left to reach the third floor.

Should you want to clear the second floor, head west. Make a left and defeat the Goborns so you can collect the Strength Incense. Now, go back west and interact with the NPC to acquire some Stunning Arrows. Go down the path to reach the third floor.

The Third Floor

You can go straight to the next floor by taking the stairs in the northern wing of this floor.

To explore, go in the opposite direction. Climb the stairs and you will return to the second floor to obtain the Damascus Vest. Now, go back down the stairs and take care of the enemies. Search the eastern section for a Shiny Stone. Go through the archway and make a left where you will find a Hero’s Incense. Enter the next room through the gap and clear it to obtain the Witch’s Earring, Magla Pill, Aquamarine, and a Gold Beetle. Go back to the main room and make your way east. Collect the Great Fairy Dust and the Blessed Water. Go north and arrive at the fourth floor.

The Fourth Floor

Walk along the main corridor and go east, then take the stairs down to reach the boss.

If you are after extra loot, find the entrance on the northern wall to explore additional chambers for the Guard’s Chausses and an Imp-Ending Pike.

Metaphor ReFantazio A Bullish Embargo – How to Defeat the Grotesque Guptauros

The Grotesque Guptauros is weak against Pierce and Ice damage and resistant to Fire damage. It does physical attacks to one or more party members.

The main attack strategy is to use Tarukaja on Hulkenberg for extra Pierce damage. Hulkenberg should use Synthesis or the normal attack. Keep all your members’ HP up. The Protagonist can heal with Dei and cast Blizz. If extra healing is needed, have Strohl use some items.

Rewards:

• Falchion weapon.
• Brute’s Horn.
• 7,500 Reeves.
• A Pious Igniter.
• Courage bump.
